What do you guys find to be the best Steam server to download from? I use the Irish one myself and it does max out my connection however the speeds fluctuate sometimes with little to no traffic on my network (UPC BTW)

I'm actually very impressed with Steam now, I remember the first Christmas sale when I got my PC and the downloads were incredibly slow - unless you changed the download location to Ukraine :P

I've gone with the reds on the MK-50, it should arrive any day now.
The MK-50 definitely seems like the best value mechanical keyboard.

Can't stand Reds, personally. It freaks me out slightly having so little feedback typing. I like Browns, but if/when I get another one, I'll be going to Blues.

It has one. It's pop up spoiler. Motorised. There is H shaped gearbox inside. 2 positions for 2 doors, one for spoiler, one for bonnet.

    I completed this today:

A lovely set, 4 wheel drive, torgue geared, remote control, differentials, all wheel steering.

Where did you buy it from Shadow. I'm very tempted to pick one up.

    Which set?

Supercar I got off amazon. It is going fo be canceled soon, so you can get a great deal. You ca find it for as low as 80eu on amazon.de

The 4x4 crawler I picked up from official lego website. It's the cheapest I could find and try delivered before Xmas too. 149eu. Payed for it.

The 4x4 is the one I'd like to get. I might wait and see if it comes down in price, the supercar sounds like a good deal.

    Cheers.

Popped another HDD in today... not showing up on 'My Computer' It's in on the mobo properly, and the SATA's are all in properly... do I have to do something within windows to configure it, or in the BIOS? Or is it DOA?

Hopefully just not formatted, if it is working correctly you should be able to see it in disk manager and format it to NTFS/assign it to a drive letter.

I won't lie, it's not the cheapest hobi, but it is a lot of fun. There is a huge website where people buy and sell lego set and parts. It's massive! There are few sellers unite land alone.
You can find some nice second hand lego there, but keep in mind, a lot of sets get more expensive with age, not cheaper. When sets are canceled the only way to get them is from other people. There is such thing as " investing in to lego" ;)

Got my GTX570 from Dabs....faulty out of the box. Exact same problem as this:

    http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php/topic,5754.0.html

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that it was already returned to Dabs, who just resold it on as working once it simply posted.

    So pissed off.

Hmm followed that guide and it's definitely just showing two drives in disk management.

Can you check if the drive is being detected in the BIOS?

Jesus that'd drive me up the wall.

I've only ever experienced this with my 670 (I think, was hard to tell with the GPU fan going) and my old M17x. Both weren't nearly as bad as I think that 79xx was (even counting the directed mic.)

I'd be fairly pissed if I paid that much for a graphics card and it did that

Had it on an old 4890, I dont think I'd wish it on my worst enemy, horrible noise.

Also, as a result of being bored, I now have some lower GPU temps courtesy of a 140mm fan stuck on to the cases hotswap cover, relocated my SSD for better airflow (not like they need it much) too while I was at it (double sided tape FTW :o)

Edit : Also realized that 6 months into windowed case ownership, I'd forgotten to take the protective film off the window. I do wonder sometimes how I preform basic life skills

How would they find out because its on the pc your selling , you would have to tell them you are selling the account which I don't think anybody would do .

But people surely end up using multiple IP addresses over the course of a steam account what with moving houses or just even changing providers.
