    It is indeed. I have the original DS, but one of the hinges snapped about a year ago so you have to be uber delicate opening and closing it and the like. I couldn't afford to upgrade though. But now they are only bringing out games for the 3ds/3dsxl and not compatible with the older systems I shall HAVE to upgrade

    Fair point. Makes sense. I wouldn't upgrade if it wasn't for the games solely for it and mine broke up in bits

    Yeah, it's just pokemon is the only game I play on the DS, so I have no real need for a 3DS of yet. I had to replace my old DS a while back though, it slipped out of my pocket, and screwed up the top screen. It was just sort of hanging on, and all the colours were messed up.

    Welp looks like I'll be freezing this weekend. Lashings of rain, gale force winds, my central heating isn't working cos of a SECOND burst pipe under the floor - that they canni fix til after new year, and I am almost out of coal :(
