A nice windy stormy night can be great, but can't really say I've experienced a proper ice storm Wolfie - been in a for shockin' bad snowy affairs by Irish standards, but nothing compared to what you get hit with in NY.

Woohooooooo!! A brand spanking shiny sparkly new Lair! Yayyyy! I must get a coat-stand for all our coats. The weather outside is frightful! :eek: Seems to be worse out the county than in the city would have thought it'd have been the other way around. I love storms! They can be annoying an odd time though if they mess up connections and electricity and stuff.

Had just managed to get to sleep in spite of the wind when in comes one of the younglings I'm minding to tell me that she woke up cos of the wind and couldn't get back to sleep... The wind is only one side of the house so have put her into the spare room but now I'm lying here again... 90 minutes sleep last night and looks like I'll be doing well to get the same tonight

Anyone else awake?

Went out for a walk with the dogs there, there was a tree blown over in the wind last night that just about missed the neighbours house and car. Fairly lucky.

I'm back in my parents house, and apparently there was some form of wind but I slept right through the night anyway! My insomnia is cured! For the last few nights anyway

What do people think is achieved by not replying to text messages? I wouldn't mind if I wasn't trying to organise to meet them all for the first time in months. Seriously it's really pissing me off. I'm the one who has to travel and they still can't reply. :mad:

Need to go to town for couple of hours, need to get few more bits shopping-wise, but am too tired, cold, and lazy to budge. Need a fire put under me to move.

Plus am hungry but don't really have anything to eat; - food for moi or prezzies for other peoples and prezzies for other peeps won out meaning me cupboards are bare. Plus car-tax due in few days and NCT due soon as well which will likely take a fair chunk of money off me. I needs to get me one of those Money-trees! And they say Christmas is supposed to be a festive happy time! :rolleyes: Yeeaaaaaaahhhh roiiiiiite! How do festive happy time. :pac:

Thanks! Yeah back a few days now, been super busy so not sick of Ireland yet, plus back to Canada for a week next month. We'll see how I feel coming back after that trip!
