    Anyone order a N4 in from the US? How much was the customs if it got caught? Or does anyone know how much it'd be?

    Wouldn't believe what it says. Ordered one 28th Novemeber, came to the 10th and was still listed as pending. Re-ordered on the 10th and it shipped on the 12th. Logged in and cancelled my order from the 28th. Delivered yesterday to mail forwarding service in the US. Just waiting for it to be delivered here now.

    Looks like Google are updating info on the play accounts on pending orders. My bank is also showing a new charge for the phone and pending. Fingers crossed!

    (16 gig N4 order with 1-2 weeks showing when initially ordered)

    When did you order yours?

    Mine said 6-7 weeks even when I ordered yesterday.

    Quick question, I thought my Meteor contract was up this month but it's not up until February now :( was going to switch over to 3's pay as you go, question is regarding getting a micro sim off Meteor easy enough as just walking into their store and picking one up or do I have to jump through a bunch of hoops?

    Should hopefully have my Nexus 4 on Wednesday :)

    Hmmmm.

    Mine should be shipped before the end of the week then if that statement is true. Now I have to worry about the fact that I finish up work on Friday so if it gets delivered any time after that god knows where it'll end up.

    Hmm ok doesn't look like I'll be lucky and getting this before Xmas. Ah well... only 7 weeks to wait. Hopefully when the next Nexus launches we'll have a Play Store in Ireland at least!

    Have my Nexus 4 now and I'm very happy with it so far.

    Picked it up on Saturday after it was delivered to parcel motel in Lucan on Thursday...

    I got an email to say our was shipped and the status changed on wallet around the same time. Weirdly the tracking number I got was for delivery to Dublin, even though the delivery addresses on my account were all up north for PM. There was no tracking past that.

    Anyway, have the phone now ;-)

    I just asked for one in the O2 shop, there was no charge for the micro SIM. Just activated it on their website. You can use the micro SIM in existing full SIM phones, just don't remove all the bits.

    I'm sure meteor should be similar, SIMs often needed replacing.

    The way that the SIM comes, from O2 at least, is as part of a credit-card, which can break out a regular mini-SIM, and from that you can break it further in to a micro-SIM, as per the old Apple link here:

    but what worked for me was to not break out the micro-SIM, but use the mini-SIM in my existing phone (HTC Desire) until I got the LG Nexus 4...


    A nano-SIM is smaller again, so make sure you don't get that one...

    You shipping via N Ireland? I'm just trying to see whether they are bunching the N Ireland orders as they use a different courier in the North (UTI) compared to TNT in GB.

    Google shipped my last order with UTI, I got the shipped email around 6 pm on Monday and had the parcel in parcel motel on Wednesday morn.

    Got the email around 00:30 this morning so just hoping that it gets to me by friday (also using parcelmotel).
