No. Write them an email. Spotify does have an app for windows phone. They just never made it available in Ireland yet

yep, on the new sw good few months now, was just last night coming home after night away it died in the car, plugged in into wall and nothing, left it overnight as thought migh kick in but no joy. Plugged it into computer in office this morning and started charging.

does anyone elses charge straight back up after it goes totally dead?

Also my battery life is terrible, i mainly use 2g now to get full days out of it, when i push it onto 3g, battery barely makes it day, and that would be with light use, i.e. wend..

all in all, not enjoying lumia exp, nice phone, like the style but the battery issues, poor quality camera and to be fair, apps are not very good - it has some way to go.

One very annoying thing though (and sorry if this has been covered before but I will admit to having not read thru the entire thread :)) - it seems impossible to set a fortnightly calendar reminder

You can set it up online and it will sync it to your phone.

Is there any way of getting the wallpaper off the phone? Or is it fixed no matter what?! It's annoying everytime when I activate the phone that I have to look at a wallpaper!

Settings - Lock & Wallpaper - Change Wallpaper

Ya but that only lets me use another wallpaper, I don't want ANY wallpaper at all. The old Nokia's had an option to turn off the wallpaper.

but I'll still have to scroll the black wallpaper away! I'd rather just be able to hit the power button to activate the screen andd then have the tiles appear straight away, its prpbably not possible though..

Hi folks, hoping you could help me with a few things - I asked this on annother thread with no lucj but this time it's Lumia 800 specific.

Whats the story with podcasts, I'd like to be able to update using data (OTA) or wifi, using RSS feeds, is/will this still possible after the 7.8 upgrade?
When is the 7.8 upgrade going to happen - I'd be looking at joining meteor (if they ever got the phone in stock)

7.8 is rumoured to be coming in Q1 2013. Right now OTA podcasts aren't available, unless you use some of the podcasts apps from the marketplace.

You can sync content over WiFi, you need to use Zune though. Good luck getting one, there wasn't a huge amount of stock to begin with. With the recent price drop everyone bought one.

Thanks for the quick response. I was hoping that the only advantage of not being WP8 was that I'd have my OTA podcasts. I can live with an app workaround.

I'll ask instore and ask what the stock situation is. Always donedeal if needed!

It still perplexes me that Microsoft removed the OTA podcast updates from non-US WP7 users.

Not sure if this phone and me are meant to be. Already dropped it several times, on one occasion the case took the impact, and today it bounced of the toilet seat, thankfully heading accross the floor and not to a watery end.

    :o
