Aye. Per is class, only thing holding him back is his pace and agaility, which obviously he can't really help. Very intelligent defender.

Hi folks, ye think it'll be Szczesny or Mannone starting tomorrow? Fantasy Football dilemma. . . . Thanks

Arsenal: Szczesny, Jenkinson Mertesacker Koscielny Gibbs Arteta Ramsey Chamberlain Cazorla Podolski Giroud

    Wilshere, Sagna and Verm rested?

Arsenal; Szczesny, Jenkinson Mertesacker Koscielny Gibbs Arteta Ramsey Chamberlain Cazorla Podolski Giroud

Beat me to it! Interesting line up, Wilshere probably needed a rest and Verm's been poor so no surprise with him. Jenks for Sagna's a surprise though

Everton is going to be much tougher I think

I have a bad feeling about today's game. One of those bad feelings you get out of the blue before a bad performance. Hope i'm wrong.

ramsey starting, were ****ed so. Was confident until I seen his name. No Verm, Walcott or Wilshere or Sagna. Hmmmm

If this team can't beat Villa in the toilet form they're in, we don't deserve a top 4 finish!

I like the back 4 though. I'm confident. 2-1 to us.

(No chance of a clean sheet!)

Vermaelen not starting. Bit of a brave call leaving the captain out but it's the right call. Definitely a few gambles in the staring 11, hopefully Wenger won't regret it

Gibbs is a major plus for me. I think this will add more balance to the team. Ramsey is a big worry and the Ox is hit and miss...don't think he is anywhere near consistent enough yet to be considered a regular starter.

    Which is why he isn't.

Villa have 9 points from 12 games. If he doesn't play in these, where is his growth coming from? Capital one cup?

Gibbs is better than Santos but not much. He is always an accident waiting to happen too. He gets upfield brilliantly and gets into a great position to cross but then boom, poor cross, gives it away and struggles to get back.

Gibbs is infinitely better than Santos, he was probably the form LB in the league bar Baines before his injury

Ok, but my point is that he has seen far too much game time for me based on his current ability. He had 26 appearances last season and will probably have a similar amount this season. While he is not a first 11 choice, this amount of appearances is hardly insignificant? He is an excellent prospect but I think he is too tactically and positionally poor. This is more likely to be shown up if Ramsey if playing alongside him IMO.

Sagna was injured. He took his chance. I actually feel for the guy as I thought he was doing really well deputising in Sagna's absence

Jenkinson also had 14 appearances in 11/12 (9 in the PL) and 12 in 12/13.

    Not really that much imo.

Why have Wilshere on the bench if you've no intention of using him no matter what?
Why is Cazorla near any corner ever?

Having no power in midfield has ****ed us again. They literally ran us off the park. Any bit of closing down and we become useless

Away draw against a team who aren't in the relegation zone. Fantastic stuff.

Considering that performance I will take a point

Poor performance today, never looked like scoring. My god we need a second striker though, sad times when were chasing a goal to win a match only to sub off Giroud and bring on Le Coq. Not good enough Wenger.

Looks like a bad move but maybe giroud got Hurt just before that

Taking off Giroud for a defensive midfielder is a fúckin baffling decision. Shambles. Gervinho is a waste of space, Arshavin is actually capable of doing something but gets brought on too late.

Just more annoyed with the fact that we don't have a proper striker to bring on tbh.

We are so pathetic trying to win the ball back.no pressure or pressing, just sitting back inviting them on.

Absolutely awful, what's worse than losing games is the frequency of games with this team where they just don't seem to give a ****

    Ramsey is awful.

Games like this show Walcotts worth to the team
