So THAT'S where I was going wrong!

It's all so simple now! :pac:

Its a common mistake, i made it too.

But really, my last post about hiding in playboy X's mansion is valid. Get the 6 star, go to the apartment, back against the wall by the balcony entrance. The swat lads cant get to ya, and you can fire back at the helis the lads with guns to maintain the 6 stars

Actually now that I think of it 6 stars will be easier in GTA V because you can hop into a fighter jet and wreck havoc. The AI used for the games fighter jets might be different from San Andreas though. Shaking off one was a stroll in the park, two at a time could be done - but what if there are 4 or 5 and they're hunting in packs!!

Seriously, if it turns out you can have aerial dogfights in GTA V

They would need to get 'Highway to the danger zone' in the soundtrack :D

Do you think their will be tablets in GTAv?

I had a dream last night that I was playing the game and one of guys had a tablet at his house and you could use it for the net etc. They have done mobiles in GTAIV so I hope they do something interesting with smartphones and may be tablets.

How exciting would you expect the tablet to be? This is the weirest thing iv ever seen for a GTA wishlist.

Well I am assuming it could be used as opposed to using the net cafes in IV. I don't know. I think it would be kind of cool.

Sounds like a perfect feature for Xbox Smartglass in fairness.

This may have been discussed before, but from Trailer 2 and the screencap of the jeep falling out of the plane, there appears to be a runway below, to the middle right of the screen.

I wonder what it is - if there are planes then you'd expect them to go for more than one airport/airfield. Will they go for a normal landing strip, an aircraft boneyard, a military base.....thoughts?

I'd guess there'll be some sort of airstrip in the desert near Trevor's base considering he has access to flying machines early on in the game

What does everyone think the "toys" will be that you save up and get with the money in the game?
I assume the largest thing trevor can buy will be the fighter jet. But what about the other two lads?

I imagine you will be able to acquire tractors, combine harvesters (hopefully), big rigs, things of that nature
Also we know from the trailer there will be quad bikes

And please god let their be monster trucks :D

    First thing I do?

    Get myself a tractor!

Didnt they say helicopters rather than planes?

There was a plane in the first trailer and a plane on fire in the second one :D

I meant for Trevor. I think they said he has access to a helicopter but nothing about a plane.

Oh whoops.. My bad :D Even if he doesn't though I'm sure he will be still able to fly planes, unless it's like san andreas where you need a license and in this case he cant get one?

Now that would be epic, breaking into the airport and stealing a plane, where as with another character you could just walk right through the gates :D

Ok I'm going to stop babbling on now!

Yeah, you might be right. I couldn't remember whether they just said helicopters or not so I compromised with 'flying machines' :p

I would love to see the return of the flying and driving schools.

Only if they are optional! The last flying school was a cnut and is a big reason I don't want to start a new game.

The flying school was a tough old one to pass but well worth it.

Optional would be the job and have it improve both skill sets.

    Haha, ye'll love this

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skeletons_%28Stevie_Wonder_song%29

Album version of Stevie Wonder's "Skeletons" (music in trailer 2) is 5:24... or 2405 if you put it backwards. :P GTA Forums are arguing about it again at the moment.

Must say though, does anyone else reckon the music was a little unsuitable for the Trailer? R* are usually good at picking the right track for the trailer they're going to put out, but Skeletons seemed a little off to me (unless they were just looking to use it for the "skeletons in my closet" line)?

If you get a trophy for passing their frustrating lessons, i'd probably do it once.

Michael and Franklin cannot operate a plane, but if this was the way they could learn, i'd welcome it

    No. Fooking. Flying Schools!

Thought all the vehicle schools in San Andreas were easy tbh.

It would be pretty crap if only Trevor could fly and the other two characters had their own unique abilities available only to them.

I could accept if the other two had to jump through some hoops to get good at flying though.

Just listening to IGN's Game Scoop podcast.

They just said that with regard to money, there won't be a joint fund between the three characters. Each will have their own separate account.

I suppose it will open up routes for double-crossing each other, but it might cause problems if you really want to buy that new car but you're controlling Trevor who's flat broke and you have to switch to Michael and drive all the way back to the dealership....

    Thoughts?

You appear to have used "new car" and "buy" in the same sentence on a thread about Grand Theft Auto.....

    Does not compute!

    :D
