Going out tonight with the bf and his friends and am just not bothered, I really dislike going out, I dunno why, but I just find it boring sitting in a pub.

Really hope we aren't out late.

Lol I'll be sticking to minerals as I can't afford beers/alcohol, too expensive for me this week unfortunately plus I'm a lightweight, one drink and I am 'happy'.

My friends are all losing their jobs as I lost mind, so everyone's happy to go to a cafe for a few hours rather than beers every time we go out. And Cork is blessed with an amazing 24 hour cafe (although I shouldn't be telling people, they might go too. :p )

I'm too broke to go out this weekend either way. Although my parents are going away on holidays next week and my mother is going to try and convince my father it's ok for me to have friends over for dinner (her only worry was that my brother would end up ferrying drunk people around in the middle of the night as we're a bit isolated.) My father will be an ass about it though. He even wants to take the heater in my room away as, "It might cause a fire.")

Got a fair bit of work done today. Could have been better but could have been worse too so I'm happy enough. Going to launch an all out assault tomorrow! Working for a few hours too and hopefully going to the Christmas market on the Champs Elysees, can't wait to see the lights.

Missing my friends from home a fair bit today, so much has been happening there and I'm missing out on it. I feel like I'm going to end up being an outsider and there's nothing I can really do about it.

Lol there'd be no convincing my bf or his friends to go to a cafe for a few hours.

I hope you don't mind me saying, but your dad seems OTT, hopefully he won't take the heater away lol, its very over the top IMO.

Would your mother agree to you having friends over, but not tell your dad about it? Or would it cause too much trouble?

My father has issues. All my siblings and myself are always arguing with him.

Nah, my mother wouldn't not tell him. She'll just insist I won't burn the house down cooking for friends, and tell him like it or lump it. Unless he throws a giant wobbly it'll be fine. Or else if my siblings have a problem with it, but I doubt they would.

What your father doesn't know won't hurt him. It's your mother's house too, once she's ok with it I wouldn't even involve your dad, tbh.

They don't like me either, but I think that's because they can sense the emnity coming off me in waves...

I've run out of wine. It's a tragedy.

As far as I can see its a room with trampoline floors and you lob balls at eachother- should be fun, though last time I was on a tampoline I broke my finger (I don't have the best balance on flat ground, let alone ground with springs)

I'm too lazy to walk to the offie and I've 2/3s of a bottle on-board already, so can't drive.

    Sob.

Don't know what is wrong with me, was in a good mood all day, now I just want to cry.

Decided not to go out tonight and stay in instead, just not in the mood for going out.

Aw, hope you are feeling better tomorrow, Toast. :( xx

Sorry to hear about the driving test, RQ. Having nobody to practice with is one of the reasons I gave up learning to drive. You're so close now though, I hope you get another test asap and nail it!! :)

My local offie do home delivery

The Oh's kids had a party here one year, and at ten to ten they were going mad on their phones (the party guests) ordering booze

Red wine time, big durty Spanish red. Takeaway from Camile ordered too, and just waiting for Match of the Day...

Was at the march today. Need to calm the anger somehow...

Absolutely huge turnout, with very few counter-protestors (that said, there were a few of the usual wingnuts around). Great to see *so* many people getting out - I think this is a bit of a "final straw" situation for a lot of people.

I have a very visceral emotional response to this sort of thing though, so once it was done I couldn't really face going out or doing much at all...

    I have drinking chocolate :D

OH is going to make me a big cup of it.
It's Cadburys stuff, any recommendations for really nice drinking chocolate?

Yeah, I was almost in tears when I saw some young kids at the Cork vigil last Wednesday.

Ooh, what's it like? Haven't ordered from there yet.

SB, I drove past a guy walking a St. Bernard puppy on Thursday and I'd say I looked like a mental patient with the GIHUGEOUS grin on my face out the car window...
