    Dont you get that here?

What I miss most from chippies in Scotland are deep fried black pudding coated in batter with proper chip shop chips, which are really soft, not the utter ****e Ive had in Ireland. Ive probably been in about 40 takeways since I moved here and not had soft chips yet.

Also deep fried pizza is a firm favourite with most people, although its horrific the amount of fat the thing soaks up, so usually you just buy a half. Oh and calling things a fish/sausage/black pudding/steak and kidney pie SUPPER!

Ive not seen any chip shops selling the big pickled onions you see on every chip shop counter in Scotland. Ive not been to any chip shops in Dublin city centre though, so Im probably missing the best places.

The next best thing they could do here is start selling cans of Irn Bru in the chippie, that would be awesome!

There are no good chippers in Dublin City. You have to go to the South to get a decent chipper, generally in the suburbs.

I'd say getting actual cod when you ask for it would be pretty weird too.
