Also quick question that Some if you may know, my mother wants to get windows 8 but I don't. Is there any way to have both windows 7 and 8 on a laptop?
Yes, just install Windows 8 and choose a different folder to install Windows in like folder windows.8 or whatever.

    You can dual boot then.

Sorry, just drop off your A&R membership card as you leave and any belongings will, be sent on...
Frontline is poor at best and Rising Sun is worse!
COD trotted past the MOH series a long time ago and EA have never caught up.
The likes of The Big Red One is far better than either MOH game mentioned.

Unless you are being sarcastic and forgot the [sarcasm] [/sarcasm] function! ;)
THERE'S A SARCASM FUNCTION!? NAAAAAAW! I never knew that actually had a purpose.

Say what you want about MOH but it has 4 player option on it and that's all I ever played.

Looks like a bunch of BLOPS2 games for PC had Mass Effect 2 on the second disc for some reason.

I have some All4One voucher things. Not sure if I want to use them on Paper Mario for the 3DS or wait and put them towards the Wii U.

Medal of Honour Frontline on Gamecube was the last good war shooter. Rising Sun was okay.

And playing an fps with a GC controller?
Ok, it works with Metroid but they have a very different control set up.
Even the PS2 controller was better for that genre.

    I didn't have a PS2. :(
Had to make do with GameCube and what a glorious couple of years.

I hate the damn controls in RE. Sorry that is all.

Playing COD on the Xbox was probably the way to go, more power than both the PS2 and GC and a better controller.
But MOH on the PC, Allied Assault, was outstanding.
But I did/do love COD2 on the 360, pretty great game, better than COD3 and, for me, more enjoyable than the gun w*nk titles that have dominated the fps genre since.
Tom Clancy and his ilk with their kindergarten geopolitical views have a lot to answer for!

I have a copy of Resident Evil 0 for the Gamecube but I could never play it as the first disc is a bit scratched.

Anybody know anywhere that can resurface Gamecube games or is that a dangerous game to play?

CeX (Liffey Street) do it for 2 or 3 quid afaik, but it might be worth finding out what kind of machine they use, some cheap disc cleaners can do more harm than good

That might be good for my collector's edition Sonic Generations disc. We shall see...

JustRyan in the console modding forum offers it as a service, decent chap & knows his stuff so I'd say he does it right

I never put a cube disc through the cleaner but Xtravision will run it through for you if you ask nicely. Not sure how it would fare with the pads being sized for a standard disc and its ages since I used one.
I'll actually bring up the extra copy of Beyond Good and Evil I have and run it through as a test the next time I'm popping in and let you know how it went. :)
Most Smyths will have a cleaner too but I'm pretty sure they will charge for the service. :(

Edit: try some lens cleaner (glasses cleaner from specsavers is perfect) and a glasses cloth and work evenly over the entire disc till you build up some speed (straight line from center to the edge and your safe), I've done this a few times to buff out minor scratches with success. For anything deeper you need to be buffing/removing a deeper layer evenly with a cleaner :). i remember the bottles of cleaner we got in Smyths was gritty as hell, I never trusted that cleaner.

Now this has lots of potential for building cheap small Mame setups. More powerful that the typical XXX in 1 boards and more 'open' then rasb-pi

Say what you will about Rockstar, but they make some damn good trailers (with funky Stevie Wonder soundtracks). GTAV is looking very impressive indeed.

Care to back that up with an example? (For those of us too lazy to Google GTAV trailer)

Same :D Though in my case I'd rather not search, the chances of coming across some American youtubers opinion of it just negates the value in finding the real thing

Have you guys actually been online for the last half hour? Don't know how you avoided it :p

Would also be nice to see what video Mr. Ultimate is referring to. If there's no trucks in GTAV then fcuk Rockstar. :pac:

You need to install it on a different partition on the Hdd then it will Dual boot from the Mbr

If you install it on the Win 7 partition then 7 goes byebye

Also do not try and dual boot vista or xp on a 7 system

    all kinds of cockups ensue

    Rule of dual booting

    OLDEST FIRST!!!!!!!!!!

Seems easy enough to do: http://m.cnet.com/news/how-to-dual-boot-windows-7-with-windows-8/57511894?ds=1

My mam is getting it for €20 so no harm in trying it out for that price.
