Prison or power plant of some sort?

Some websites are known for sending out their parcels a bit early to ensure people get the game on release day. If you live in a postal hub area then there is a chance you might get it early.

Mind you, I'd put my house on it that most game retailers will be having a midnight launch for this. I remember when IV launched. I bought it in Tesco at midnight and played it until 6am. Slept for a few hours and played it for the rest of the day. Those were simpler times now, I wont be able to do that again unfortunatly.

thanks for that,i might take the gamble with ordering online.I think i'll be pulling a sicky the day i get this anyway.

Don't see any high walls? I think those are either tree or lights surrounding it.

I can see watch towers in a circular formation around the perimeter fence.

Ah yes! And I see two bridges going to it so there must be a river flowing round it or something.

Also, anyone mystified by the fact there is teenagers in V? Dogs and Teens? Big step up for Rockstar!

If Grove St. is in the game in some form, will anyone find it genuinely emotional going back there? I actually will find it poignant.

I'm not bothered about buying places, I'll be happy once we can unlock some decent pads through the story. Buying property always felt like a lame way of spending the massive amounts of cash you earn.
I found the ability to buy pads so that you could save your game in them useful in the past.

I'm hoping that you really have to work for your money in V and when you get a payout from a well planned heist you feel like you earned it.
I'll probably be lazy; ride a hooker, knock her out, rob her, buy a gun, and kill people for their cars, etc.

It would be great if rockstar turned around and said the game is being released next week. I would actually cry with happiness.

    Copy Paste from GTAForums:

The animator, Andy Davies, who worked on the (cancelled) game Eight Day's had joined Rockstar just before or soon after GTA V was announced. This significance of this is that the game Eight Days had some great animations from characters, and cinematics. Plus with the information we were given today, like the instances of
    - Fully controllable rappelling
    - Seamless transitions from characters
    - The scene where the protagonist picks up a gas canister and lights the truck on fire (Unsure if cutscene or not)
....if we add all this up, we can get a basic idea of what the game may play like.

    If it's anything like that..!

Mind you, is anyone else upset about hearing that the car handling/physics have been tampered with? The cars were apparently very 'boat like' and the new physics 'hold the ground better' and are 'more like a racing game'. That all sounds crap. I thought IV was perfect.

    I also hope that:

    1. We don't have to 'blow the dam'.

I was just thinking the opposite!

Would be pretty cool if near the end you had to make a decision to either:

    1. Blow it, get paid but lose something important to the character.
    or
    2. Not blow it in order to keep whatever turns out to be valuable and instead be hunted by whoever hired you to blow it.

If there is one thing GTA games lack is letting the player make big decisions.

I hated the handling in IV. A lot of the time it was like driving a tank minus the fun.

As did I, I cant stand the car physics of Need for Speed and these games. They are stupidly unrealistic. GTA IV had relatively realistic oversteer and understeer and overall it was fun to drive. Im really worried about the new driving mechanism.

Even if it's not as good it won't be "bad".

Rockstar wouldn't put such effort into the game and leave something like this fail. If it did they would have just put it back to the old mechanism.

I liked the driving in IV too. Thought there was a massive amount of feeling like the cars were big and heavy and had the real feeling if you didnt slow down to take certain corners you were screwed, much like real life.

It never said anything about running a business, it just said you cant buy property, You may still inherit a business and have to run it or something.

    Wishful thinking. :D

I loved the property purchasing feature in VC. Having your guys hanging around outside was cool as foooooooooook. Made you realise way back when you cam eto VC with nothing....now you had people working for you. Hope they bring it back in some small way.

Exactly, I went back to playing san andreas and felt the handling was very cartoony, Nearly ever car handled the same way and you could take 90' corners at high speed, which is unrealistic.

Have you played LA Noire!?

Micro Machines on the SEGA Game Gear had better handling.

Can't wait to go riding round the city on a bike again:)

From that link just change the number at the end to see some more pics, I think there's a few that weren't in GI start at 1 and go up through them to 34
