Looks well alright, I much prefer those wheels to the standard GTI ones.

Came across this gti on a uk site,
I think its absolutely perfect and subtle and this is what i pictured mine being like when im done modding it!

    Opinions please, yay/nay?!

I know the wheels aren't what you would normally see on a gti, but i think they look great and less common is better right! :p

I like it but to me its a bit low, it makes the car uncomfortable to use daily and limits a lot of place where you can go. I don't get the fad of having a car that low!

On another note I was in a breakers today and came across my brother's first car. He minded it like a baby so it was sad to see it there.

Ya i had an idea about those kind of wheels in my mind, and when i came across this pic it was almost exactly what i pictured my car to end up looking like.

Thats the thing, i'm toying with the idea of lowering it, but i only want a small drop as some roads down here are very bumpy.

Was thinking a h&r cup kit, but how would the ride be affected?
Especially when i change to 18" wheels?

    mMmmmmm H&R cup kit...

Completely different car, but that's what mine has on it. She's very stiff and you really notice the bumps. It's like comparing apples and oranges though.

The Oh goes to Grafton Barbers, they don't give him anything I don't think, apart from magazines, and a good haircut :)

I always wanted to cut my own hair, but the barber can cut my locks and make them look cool. And I really don't trust myself to cut my own hair. :o

Crew cut is easy, just setting up the mirrors to see what you are doing.... use an electric yokemebob (I cannot think of the name of it :o) and not a scissors to cut your hair

Motor related: Cars have mirrors

Have you been driving without them? Or cutting your hair in the car mirror.

I once drove for about two months without a rear view mirror.

They always offer you tea, coffee and sometimes a beer. I don't think they force any of them on you though, so maybe he declines politely. ;) haha

They generally have really good barbers in there though, which is why I go there. Never had a disaster cut with them in about 10 years, so that's good enough for me. :)

I still wouldn't because then you sit in of the mirror the mirror behind looks like your moving a different way.

    :pac: Too true...

Rarely use the rearview mirror, just the externals. Never any use in a van, survived without it.

I really need to wire in those heated mirrors....

Yeah I was also driving a van at the time, so had gotten used to it.

Then the flipping car failed the NCT so I'd to fix it :)

Ya,my mother went around the house too quick there last year and the glass fell out of the mirror driverside wing because she hit the corner of the house.

And then her car hasn't been serviced in the last 120,000 miles. She claims "why get new things for it, if its going good!?" I really don't know how its still going though. :pac:
