We also have a handful of youngsters in that squad with very little experience and as I said Ally can't motivate in fact I believe he may be losing the dressing room as some of his team selections are strange

Oh and money doesn't make you a better player

Signing top SPL players does though, players you wanted to sign while in the SPL in the case of Sandaza & Black.

Either way hard luck tonight I had hoped we'd meet you at some point in the competition so it's a pity that's not going to happen.

    Thank god

Our main problems as I see it are at the back plus Ally's tactics you don't put on Kyle and move Jig to Midfield taking Sheils off. No point in having Kyle up there on his own the thing to do is take Jig off but he won't

And you can sign these players but if they don't perform questions have to be asked.
Don't get me wrong I didn't have massive ecpectations for this season but I do expect players to perform

Remember we are a div 3 side or is that only when it suits you.

I also believe its time for Ally to go. Not because of tonight it has been obvious for a while he can't motivate
    How could I forget.

Super caley go ballis....only messing. Is super Ally goosed at this stage or will Green stick with him? Personally I think he'll say all is good because he wont want to upset the Shares issue and thats Greens ticket to making big bucks.

If he does that could backfire reading the comments on other forums and not just tonight

Yeah, because keeping an incompetent manager on and playing **** football will cause people to buy shares ?

If anything, the fact that Green seems to be indecisive concerning McCoist will have a far bigger negative impact on any shares issue than sacking him.

He's not really indecisive about super Ally though, didn't he say both of them would he there to lead the team/club into the CL?

He may have said that but no one is niaive enough surely to believe if results are not going right Green won't make changes. Not even you can think that Lubo ;)

charles green will say whatever gets the best reaction from the fans or what keeps the majority onside.

sacking a manager you declared that you wanted to give a 25 year contract will cause a period of instability and investor confidence goes through the floor. i think his ipo will be lucky to generate 10m either way tbh

As an investor I don't really think that the performances will mean a whole lot if you're really thinking of the display of the team atm. You'd have to think that in under 5 years Rangers will be challenging for titles in the SPL again and that's without the potential fast tracking of forming a bigger SPL. I don't think there is any doubt that they will win Division 3 this year IMO.

Also Charles Green is only going to hang around as long as it's worth his while and obviously he considers that in the short term this is the best path for Rangers to take. A lot of investors are already being expected to be repaid for backing Charles Green and I think that's where the problem for Rangers will lie in the future. However, I don't think either sacking or keeping McCoist is going to make a big difference to the IPO.

Rangers is a club than is nearly guaranteed to be in the SPL in the next 3-4 years and maybe earlier. They are investing in the future and what is considered to be an almost guaranteed return. My only problem would be that I don't trust Charles Green but I trust him as long as he's there.

You can wink away til the cows come home BBE, it is of absolutely no odds to me that there's a charlatan in charge and a clueless manager at the helm.

    Rangers slipped into liquidation today...

Rangers - formed in 1872 and incorporated into a company in 1899.

    in·cor·po·rat·ed (n-kôrp-rtd)
    adj.
    1. United into one body; combined.

Went into Administration Valentine's Day, 2012.

    Entered Liquidation Hallowe'en, 2012.

With BDO taking over from D&P today I'm looking forward to what Christmas will bring.

in any other business it does, maybe rangers fans are ready to get their fingers burnt and be out of pocket for little/no equity, again!

did you see how green did his estimate? he even said himself that alot of the pledges are wishful thinking.

green has stated that rangers wont play in the spl with him involved so he is testing his exit stategy against fan confidence already.

rangers should be in the spl in 4 years but i wouldnt put a guarantee on that, their manager is struggling to get players to perform in div3 with a wage budget similar to hearts in the spl.

Hilarious saying the ref is the only person in stadium that saw the foul but then co-commentator chirps in about the 'lunge!'

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,623 ✭✭✭lubo_moravcik

ICT should have been down to 10 though....very poor call from the ref.
That's what happens though, the big teams get these decisions in their favour against smaller teams.

    Source ?

edit: In the Times apparently, has to do with Zeus Capital and Richard Hughes, not with Green and not with the club.

Hughes is a minority stake holder, that's all.
