Folk are welcome to post in any superthread they wish to, but nobody is free to use superthreads or this forum in general as somewhere to try and bait/flame/troll other posters.

You'd have to think that in under 5 years Rangers will be challenging for titles in the SPL again and that's without the potential fast tracking of forming a bigger SPL. I don't think there is any doubt that they will win Division 3 this year IMO. Also Charles Green is only going to hang around as long as it's worth his while and obviously he considers that in the short term this is the best path for Rangers to take. A lot of investors are already being expected to be repaid for backing Charles Green and I think that's where the problem for Rangers will lie in the future. However, I don't think either sacking or keeping McCoist is going to make a big difference to the IPO. Rangers is a club than is nearly guaranteed to be in the SPL in the next 3-4 years and maybe earlier. They are investing in the future and what is considered to be an almost guaranteed return. My only problem would be that I don't trust Charles Green but I trust him as long as he's there.
