So the news has arrived, I like it, Nice picture, with a nice woman, holding a nice phone. The only problem is, she is holding the phone around the wrong way to be taking a picture of herself. :rolleyes: not very professional for R*. Or maybe she is trying to get coverage, Bad coverage in GTA V? who knows we will have to wait till spring to see, what the mobile coverage is like.....

Different era's. In this era CJ doesnt exist. An easter egg is the most we could realistically expect.

PC release is generally 6 months after console!

Yeah, I bet the city council would have jumped at the opportunity to build a statue to someone who was involved in at least 45 gang wars across the city, and was responsible for the deaths of possibly hundreds of police officers during the escape from that hotel after the failed meeting of the Grove families. :pac:

Cant wait to hear more next week. The main thing I'm looking forward to is finding out who the protagonist is. If its the old guy from the trailer or someone completely different, or even if there's multiple protagonists.

Right, so people here seem to be able to make educated guesses on a lot of factors based on experiences with previous releases.

A question I have it on the map - I dont have direct links to the sources but I've been lead to believe two things:

1. The game will feature Los Santos (only) and countryside.
2. The map will be the biggest R* have ever had for a GTA game.

Do both these points seem to contradict each other? If you take away San Fierro and Las Venturas is it not going to be smaller? The only answer I can muster is that the landscape will bear little or no resemblance to that in San Andreas.

Appreciate any thoughts from the experienced heads!

Apparently it is a completely different city, just using the same name(s). Like the way Liberty City changed so much from III to IV.

They don't really contradict each other tbh.

First of all, it's going to be a different universe to SA, so they have licence to add in areas to the city that weren't there in SA.

Secondly, the countryside can be made much larger, maybe even incorporating some of the Badlands areas of San Fierro.

It's just important to remember that they won't simply be up-rezing the Los Santos city from SA, they're going to be building a new city from the ground up with a similar feel to Los Santos.
