It's the opposite of pushing.
Verb applies in many different locations, clubs included.

Ah bless, i remember them days....16-17, in the local club, lookn for the shift cos still hadnt figured out how to get the ride (and had nowhere to bring her). Comparing with ur friends how many u shifted that night. Enjoy it op, u'l eventually realise that 1 ride > 100 shifts

Haha yea that's true, scream into the ear pretty much, also it gives you an excuse to get close. Sometimes when you go to say something into their ear, birds think you want to shift them so they pull away, that way you know not to try the shift for real. Happens to me loads haha

has feeling random birds arses ever worked for anyone. seems to be my "drunk thing". it usually ends up funny more than anything, most girls dont slap hard, most.

I always find some nights on im fire, and other times i cant get a look in. I'm like darren bent with my patchy form.

for the average lad, its all a numbers game as far as I see. its just about dealing with rejection and having balls. which isnt easy either

Don't get cold sores but now that you mention it alot of sore throats, could be it. Although go out once maybe twice a week so shouldn't be too bad
