If its still there tomorrow, go to Argos and clamp it. :pac:

    Higher

Higher as in more desired and less projecting a certain image?

I'm rather fearful of asking this question and SH getting in a rage :D

I'd have considered them the same lol

A scooby is a car for someone who likes dramatics and looking good.

An Evo is a car for someone who is a stathead and just wants to win.

Im with ya on that one id have considered them the same and if push came to shove id pick a STi Impreza over a an Evo every day of the week, while neither of them a beautys think the Impreza is a much nicer looking car inside and out with the same performance.

I'm less fearful now as SH will murder you first.

How can they look good with those manky spoilers? Your user name is apt, I'd tend to think of them as gurrier cars heehee.

what other kinda hot hatchbacks/common cars are there that are 2.0t besides an opc, gti and vrs and that are meant to be sporty?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,295 ✭✭✭Supergurrier

    Evo 9

    Horsepower : 286 hp @ 6500 rpm
    Torque : 289 lb-ft @ 3500 rpm
    Redline : 7000 rpm

    Top speed : 156 mph(electronically limited)
    0-60 mph : 4.4 sec.
    0-¼ mile : 12.9 sec @ 106.2 mph

    2007 STI

    Horsepower : 300 hp @ 6000 rpm
    Torque : 300 lb-ft @ 4000 rpm
    Redline : 7000 rpm

    Top speed : 152 mph
    0-60 mph : 4.7 sec.
    0-¼ mile : 13.2 seconds @ 104.0 mph

Fairly similar but STI's are alot more rare/expensive, most scoobies on the road are WRX

Why gurrier cars? Im not being funny but id see more pie balls driving around in Audis and Beemers than I would in Imprezas or Evos.

The STI's arent a lot more expensive if ya look at Carzone or Donedeal you will pick up a Impreza cheaper than an Evo.

Behaviour of the few lads in my area who have them tbh :) Not a valid reason for the opinion, but they roar around the place, have music blaring, and generally do not behave well when driving.

Very much personal experience of my local area.

    aye.

bringing in 1.8t then you have the older cupra,tt,vrs, golf.

why did all vag cars go from 1.8t to 2.0t and yet not have any more bhp? do they have a good bit more torque and better mpg generally as the improvement?

Is there a KIA dealer in Naas now? I know there was Naas Kia which went out of business in extraordinary circumstances 4 years ago.
