Hey, that looks like my happy little collection!
Aside from the Wii U and the Vita.
The PSP Go doesn't look happy at all.
Come to think of it the 360 looks embarrassed and the poor DC is crying, I bet the PS2 said something mean to it!

Age old question that; how much is it worth? It's worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it. Or what they're willing to trade for it I guess. :)

EnterNow: don't suppose you have a minty Raiden DX PCB (Fabtek release) knocking about in the attic? Straight swap for Wily. :pac:

(Note the single, not double, "l" in Wily folks, I'm not offering any Cho-Aniki type trades!)

Perhaps Andrew, you'd have slightly more luck if you tried to offer up the Wily but with two "L"s!
Just don't tell anyone, just pop up here on Boards with a CIB copy of the game, no one here can see your shame, or the fact you're sitting on a bag of frozen peas!

Yeah, the Wiimote is pointing and laughing, I don't know why, I lost me last Wii after the over active Connect24 fried my GPU and banjaxed the thing, and there's indications it's happening to it's replacement!

Anyone ever tried the Miracle Fruit berries?
Just got a batch of them (well the dried tablet/sweet type). Really interesting and everything you eat afterwards tastes very different.
We tried lemons and limes which are delicious and not bitter at all, Guinness is like liquid toffee and we tried a load of other fruits and whatever else was in the kitchen.
I think everyone should try them out :D

so what youre saying is i can make awful tasting food, which is apparantly 'good for you' taste like toffee?

Now there's a product every child needs before dinner!

Well there is a lot of research and trials on it for dieting and other medical uses (metallic taste that comes with chemotherapy doesn't happen when you eat some of the berries and other things as well) .
Check out the wiki link. But its just a bit of fun to try out.
It does make wine taste like crap though, I knew this and had my glass with dinner before trying it out.

Had my first day of my game design course. Shattered after it. Back to education again, never thought I'd need to again after 11 years in college.

Next best thing would be to play the rom via an Everdrive cart. :)

    Mine got posted today :P

But is it worth the money beyond being simply rare?

It's not really worth it except for collections sake. It's far from the optimal Megaman experience. It's slowed down for PAL and the NES games play better and have better music. You can get the NTSC Mega Man games on the collection for a lot cheaper than the cart on it's own although Mega Man 1 might set you back a bit. Even getting the PAL NES carts would work out cheaper but the PAL versions are the usual lazy Capcom PAL ports (which in a way might be good because they work perfect in a NTSC region free machine).

You can get them from various online stores but I got them from eBay.

I tried those miracle berries. Very weird. Sweet things taste sour and sour things taste sweet. Eating lemons has never been so tasty!

I have this fear every time I test out my Apple I.
I usually do it once or twice a year to make sure its still alive and its all done in a very controlled environment with surge protectors and all sorts :)

Man you have got to stick up a video of this thing on youtube - all the videos on youtube are pure ****e and to be honest, the state of some of the Apple I's seems a little suspect.

Any chance of taking a video of it ? Something super nostalgic about green screen :o

    Ahh!
I should be awash with Gradius and Salamander gaming goodness but the post seems to be taking ages!
I'm awaiting Gradius and Gradius 2 for the Famicom and Life force aka Salamander for the Nes, not to mention Balloon Fight, Commando and a host of others!
Maybe someone at work is intercepting them!
At work for the wife, redirecting my parcels of gaming goodness!
    Could it be true?

I'm of the same opinion on flash carts ruining collecting as yourself, but after buying a Megadrive everdrive they really are worth it. It's increadibly useful being able to drop a rom onto a micro SD and have it on real hardware in seconds.

We've spoke about it at lenght, but I think carts that never got regional releases, or never released at all, do warrant some kind of niceness, in my mind anyway. To have a Clocktower cart, with proper original artwork but in English, to me is a totally different kettle of fish to a repro of Darxide or something.

    I'm heavily tempted to either:

    1) Buy a minty fresh, properly produced repro of it with a nice cart sticker etc, a la

    351wjlk.jpg

This would cost about $60 or so & looks the absolute business

    2) Build my own repro, perhaps using an original SFC Clock Tower cart. This is pricey though, & would be a good bit spent that could go towards an Everdrive.

    3) Buy an Everdrive. Very nice in that I could kill all my fan translation desires/rare/obscenely priced carts all in one go. But there's nothing unique or unusual about it.

    Hmm,

Buy the SFC version and everdrive the **** out of the fan transaltion, that's what I'd do.

That'd cost a pretty penny, must check to see what SFC Clock Tower goes for but last I checked it was over $100
