hi everyone,i would like to get back into hunting,i used to be out fairly regular with a relative of mine (he was the one with the gun ,i was there to handle the dogs).Now i'd like to go down the road of joining a gun club and applying for a licence of my own.i would be applying for a licence for a 12 bore over and under…

easiest way is go to a gun dealer

It is an easy enough process to go through.

If you have a budget in mind then its time to hit some of the RFD's and see what they have in stock.

Once you decide on a shotgun you will pay a deposit and the RFD will give you a sheet of paper with his details on it and the details of the gun on it.
If you have the FCA1 form they might even fill it out for you.

Also with the new licensing you will have to complete a competence course. These are run around the country. If we knew what area you are from someone here should be able to tell you where there would be one close by.
