I'm not changing what you say
Just think today was a bigger indicator than next week
If we loose next week I'm still confident in the team

That's no problem, i wasn't saying chelsea will be a bigger indicator than city just that the chelsea game will show me if w have a real chance at the league.

I'm just back from Croke Park aftertb watching another rubbish final and am a bit pissed but i can't wait for Match of the Day to see the performance. I predictedr a draw yesterday and am happy we got one and didn't lose. I couldn't even get a commentary aty the match as there was no signal or it was blocked ouit. I will watch the highlights and give opinions tomorrow. BUT whatever happened a point is a good result andf i would have taken it before the match.#Well done Arsenal !!!

We could have been three up by half time. You'll enjoy the highlights.

Well im fairly happy with their performance today and took alot of positives. There was some good individual performances like Arteta and Cazorla. I was also very impressed with gibbs and Carl Jenkinson. He has really improved looks alot stronger on the ball than last year and played some good football today against the champions.
Only disappointment for me personally was our defending for the goal. Even though i cant stick most of the sky commentators they had apoint today with their comments about our defending of set pieces. Zonal marking i think was what they were saying as our players didnt get close enough to the man city players. Lescotts goal could of being avoided imo.
Overall im excited about our prospects and think we will do well this season.

    Well said!

But I am really surprised folks arent talking about Ramsey's performance, I thought he played brilliantly. In my opinion, he played better than Diaby and didnt give away the ball as much. Although, I think Diaby won the the battle of the beasts against Toure. He completely made minced meat of City's midfield in the first half.

He had great composure. Since the pressure has eased off of him he has flourished.

My favourite bit of the match was when the commentator called Cazorla Happy Gilmore.
After that every time he got the ball the inside of my head said "just give it a little tappy.Tap taparoo".

Well now I think a draw was a fair result. Couldn't get over Gervinho's misses but apart from that he got into the positions and played well. Podolski was quiet today and Koscielney was brilliant. Arteta and Ramsey showed up well as diod Carzola. Good match.

Role on Chelsea. We can take them.

Missed the match but recorded it to watch after work. Had a dream the night before that it was 1-1, couldn't believe it when i saw the scoreline. Although my dream had us 1-0 up with Lehmann giving away a peno in the last minute...so not quite a premonition.

No way, I dreamt last week we were playing and had Lehmann sent off :pac:

Just goes to show how good a manager Arsene is. He bought the right player at the right time and at the right price.

Right now, Carzola is proving to be arguably one of the best signings in the P.league.

Delighted with how we knocked the ball about today lads, reminded me of watching Spain playing with the 4-6-0 formation. We really made a show of them at time and only for lacking a bit of cutting edge in front of goal we would of won today.

Were looking great lads good things to come to Arsenal this season :)

    IN WENGER WE TRUST

    What is annoying?

Having slight grammatical, spelling or syntax errors corrected. Or, more specifically, doing it and then having 3 of your own pointed out.

Gervinho irritates the bejesus outta me, runs all day, glides past players, gets into great positions, but when it comes to shooting he looks ridiculous. Just goes to blast it every time, no composure whatsoever

Good point for us today, although as most seem to agree it could have been more if Gervinho had his shooting boots on. I felt Giroud should have come on sooner, we really lacked a proper center forward on a good few occasions. There were a lot of times that we had Jenks or Gibbs on the ball out wide but no one in the box to play it to so they had to go backwards. When Giroud came on he may not have had many chances but he creates a lot of space around the box by getting into the dangerous areas. If you look at the Cazorla shot that got us the corner that led to the goal he got a good bit of space on the edge of the box because Kompany was marking Giroud and Lescott was on Theo. Even if he hasn't got any goals yet I still think he's worth starting because of the space he creates for others.
All in all a good draw though, hopefully we can go out next week and get the win against Chelsea!

It's fair enough though. His speed is his weapon. If someone as fast as him was able to think quick enough and had composure, he'd be up there with Ronaldo or Messi.

Instead he's more like Wiltord on fast forward.

    Arteta on RVP
Arteta says. "Some of his goals are unbelievable. When you watch him in training, with his natural ability, he wasn't sweating. We knew that Robin was irreplaceable. The manager said that. But we have had to replace him somehow, but not with one man -- with a team."

Playing brilliant and saying all the right things, future legend imo
