    Do tell...

Its just part of a bigger plan, front mount intercooler, pre cat pipe, more boost, remap. Will have a reliable 240bhp then :)

Rescued the safety belt buckle that had recoiled into the wind mechanism behind the back seat and into the boot. Had to take apart a bit of the back of the car. Quite proud of myself.

    Missed a spot!:D

Would you consider a wheel refurb? If not you'd probably pick up a set of punto alloys in decent shape for little money.

Those wheels actually came off the blue Bravo in my earlier post  personally, those wheels suit the Punto in gunmetal grey :)

BW, I was playing around with google maps and you can just about see the yellow car in the garden :)

Washed, clayed and detared the car today. Followed with a coat of dodo need for speed and topped off with chemical guys blitz. Wheels sealed with poorboys wheel sealant.

Took off the front and back bumper valances and preped them for paint. Have the bumper trims painted all ready.

Fitted factory xenons and headlight washers during the week!!

Just spend a week in Donegal and got pissed off with the sh1tty sat nav mount falling off the windscreen on the bad roads(although the mount was a bit crap anyway) so I decided to do something to mount it much more secure and neater.

A couple of hours of modding, trimming and fabricating later and This is how it looked. It could do with a little more tidying but it looks alright methinks.

How the feck do ye guys get the time to de-tar, clay and put 1001 different polishes/waxes/sealers etc on yer cars?

Its something I really want to do to my cars but never seem to have the time. Also how long will the polish last? I got a kit and extra polish off Andy in detailer.ie in june last year and the stuff is in the shed unused since then, I'm now worried it'll go off? Also I presume you need warmish weather to do a car?

Well i work as a barman renofan,
So I usually start work at 12 or 5, If it's a 12 start and i want to wash the car, ill get up around half 7 or 8 and get it done first. Or if it's 5 ill get up not too much later and do a bit more at it lol.
But if im doing a big job ill obviously wait till I have a day off :)
Miss Wog used to give me and awful slaggin' at first, telling me I was a creep and all, but she doesn't mind now cause she likes the results!

Saying that, I still haven't got my arse in gear to DA the car yet, thoughts of it are not too appealing at the minute!

Here is a tip for you.
Use a DA to apply the Blitz with a Black pad ( Soft ), You will get possibly 30 ~ 40 coverings out of one bottle, It only takes about 15 minutes to apply and remove.

The thing is you have to set your mind to put a day or so aside to get the car done once and for all.. Then after that it is only a quick maintenance job.

    What kit have you got?
Stuff doesnt normally go off except for the extreme cold weather may play up on some.

I machine polished the Toledo last January in the bitter cold. Came out fine.

I got this kit off Andy plus more of the polishes. They are kept in a plastic container in a bricks and mortar shed. My problem is I don't have a shed that'll take a car and usually only have an hour or two at a time to work on the car at the moment. I always seem to end up doing stuff for others :(
