We have some options in midfield right now, possibly the strongest in the prem
Wenger was def right not to spend it seems

For the first time in a while keeping players happy might be a problem

Seriously? I was going to watch it but my stream was really choppy and kept freezing so I gave up halfway through the first game. Just got highlights from Dailymotion and that was about six minutes, looked like the longest of all the matches uploaded at the time.

it was a complete mauling of poor So'ton. Our tails are up, looking forward to the City game now.

    Cazorla is......my hero.

Nice performance from the lads, highly impressed to be honest. I know folks would say the win was against a weak team in the league but you cant take anything away from the commitment and discipline displayed especially in the second half when S'ampton upped their game. It is also quite interesting that Southampton only marginally lost to the Manchester teams but were practically decimated at the Emirates.

I am particularly delighted with the way Poldi and Santi have almost effortlessly gelled with the team. I am hopeful Giroud will start delivering very soon and what better way than against his former club when we face Montpellier next week. We are looking good and how Arsene manages to perform these tricks when we looked so hopeless with the RVP, Song saga is simply beyond me. Fairplay to him and I sincerely prays he signs a new contract soon.

Only played a few minutes and didn't get a chance to do much. Hope he gets starting vs Montpellier.

Ya would give him great confidence if he scores against his old club before going into the city game

Thats been RTE way for donkeys years.

Utd/Liverpool pull in the ratings that justify what RTE pay for the highlights package from the Premier League. Aresenal just aint as big a draw as us Gooners think we are.

    RTE are pricks

Cazorla is a pure assassin. the camera done several close ups and they eyes were flicking here and there. Looking for men and calculating where they'd run to no doubt. Brain working overtime. God this man is fantastic :D

The highlight of my footballing weekend is a Galvasean goals update

I (to my shame) omitted a very special player...

    Gervinho 2
    Podolski 2
    Mr. Owen Goal 2
    Walcott 1

    Cazorla 1

Love the way this is posted after 3am. I like the thought of Galvasean waking up in the middle of the night in a sweat, 'you left out the own goal you plonker!'

I thought Ramsey looked excellent when he came on yesterday. Arsene is going to have some real selection headaches this season.

Look at kos - our best defender last season and he doesn't know when he's going to get a game. With Yanga Mibwa suspended he would have been a shoe in to play for France against Spain. That must be looking doubtful now. Hopefully Arsene and Bould can keep the dressing room happy

Seen this tweet said I would post it up on the boss's anniversary

Arsène Wenger has helped Arsenal build a new stadium & reach Champions League 15 years in a row, with NET transfer spend of £0.77m pa! #Wow

    The man is a genius

And those who were flipping out after our 0-0 at stoke should take note of City's match there today.

Yeah but both Stoke and Arsenal were jammy yesterday.:pac:

CL 15 years in a row with that kind of spending is impressive on it's own, but along with the new stadium, amazing.

Well the new stadium is what forced his hand with the low net spend on players the 0.75 million annually wasn't used buy players and build a stadium. Still, impressive nonetheless

Guaranteed Carling Cup win this year considering how strong our second string is :pac:

So what do we expect from the next two league games

    4 points = brilliant
    3 points = good
    2 points = not bad
    1 point = only ok
    0 points = pants

I didn't put in 6 points cause I don't think we will get it
But mother of god if we did

I expect 4, would be overjoyed with 6. I think we're good enough to beat both but it's unlikely. On form I have to expect the city match to yield the better result of the two. Don't see any reason why we can't get a result against chelsea either tbh.

I'd be delighted with 2 tbh.

I'd settle for 2 points. Keep the unbeaten run going :pac:

A non-football following friend asked me how was my team doing. I told him we just won 6-1. He rsponded, "oh, i thought Arsenal weren't supposed to be able to score goals this season.
    Nice to exceed expectations...

I personally think we get 3
    1 win and 1 loss

Will be a sad day if/when he leaves the Premier League. I hate the way he doesn't get the credit he deserves. Superb manager and you know Arsenal are in safe hands with him.

Good point maybe two draws wouldn't be at all bad we would still be unbeaten and have that feel good factor

I see Thierry Henry scored directly from a corner for New York yesterday...

    Sign him up Wenger!

I was in a night club around half 2 when it dawned on me...
    Had to hurry home!

edit: That's MISTER Owen Goal to you!
