They were 1265gr if i remember correctly. I am very happy with them, light and while the hubs are cheap the spin smoothly enough. They are plenty stiff as well, at least for me (no powerhouse here). Braking is not great (especially on the wet) but i need to try different pads. The price depends on what hubs/spokes you are getting really.

That's pretty cool. Tell me more. Do they take inserts or are they full lenses?

here's their full set of sports glasses with info :http://goggles4u.com/sports-goggles.html

I've used a set of their sunglasses for over a year and highly recommend them - I just need clear lenses for the Winter

Sorry man, just looking at the site there and I'm not sure what exactly I'm looking at. Did your 90 quid include the whole lot - the frames, clear lenses, and then prescription lenses bit and holder as well? That seems a like a great price. Was there any issue shipping to here from the States?

when i got the sunglasses before there was no hassle with the shipping apart from the fact it was a bit slow, took about 3 weeks i think.

90 quid is the all inclusive price yeah with shipping and all, I get my normal glasses from there for about 30-40 quid all in so its really good value.

Well finally took the plunge and bought a Garmin

    edge800images.jpg

Have done a few routes this year which I wouldn't remember all the turns and directions and can't go back in fear of getting lost so this should help. Also hope to use it abroad next month so will be able to upload some routes before going and also know where home is so I can be adventureous and not have to worry about getting lost!

Suprised at the difference in price online, went for the basic package which finally got for 318 (posted) and seen prices up to 450 for same package! I'm sure cheaper again could be found but after a few hours of searching I settle with Bike Discount in Germany.

And most importantly the colour matches the scheme on my new frame :D

Would you mind posting a review of the unit when you've used it on a couple on a couple rides?

I'm between this and the 500 at the moment.

Will do although I'm still waiting on my new wheels so it'll be a few weeks before I get proper usage, heading to Majorca for a few days riding and will put it through its paces there.

If you haven't read them already then check out the dcrainmaker reviews for the Edge 500 and Edge 800. He usually has more detail than you ever wanted.

I added fulcrum racing 1 competition limited editions to an unsuspecting shopping cart last week, and the bad boys arrived this morning! can't wait to beat the life out of them on a few hills

ps. who said getting tyres on fulcrums is difficult, these just popped on dead easy :P

Just this ... as an upgrade ... my first and last good road bike ... it spoke to me ... "come and get me ... come and get me" ... never spent that much money on a single thing just for me in my entire life - but I think it looks cool - has all the components that people here have endorsed - got it for £1260 - better price than on Wiggle - deposit paid - fitted and collecting on Friday. I is very very happy - now for those hills ...
