Well apparently this thread is "disturbingly erotic" for Atavan, a fact which itself is extremely disturbing.

Which bits, I wonder, were the erotic bits?

    Oi!
    Atavan!
No more responding to threads sans pants!

All I can say on the matter is I was watching that episode of futurama at the time and after several pints of bulmers (for you ciderman!), cocktails and a few vodkas it all made sense at the time!

Are the Old Cinema Man posts in this thread? Maybe it's that that does it for Atavan? Shudder...

No more Heisenberg 'til 2013! It'll be a long year. Luckily The Thick of It has a new series on Saturday so all is not without hope ;)

How'd the interview go? I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya ;)

I was on the other end for about 20 interviews last week. You think going to them as an applicant is bad until you have to sit on the other side asking all the questions. Bloody exhausing so it is!

    Then there's the feedback/rejection interviews afterwards :(

I think it went well, only time will tell.
I used to interview people myself and hated when we had someone from HR sitting in as they had the usual stupid robot HR questions I feckin hate to ask applicants.
    No HR person today :)

Did you have to sweat your bollo..., ehh, butt off in a suit as well?

It was a phone interview from home so just made sure I had a shower so didn't even have to leave the house. Anyway the recruitment companies just want to know what skills you have and that you're not a clown so they can match you with a job. You still have to interview for the job anyway after they match you. These guys seem a lot better than the Irish run clowns that haven't a clue about science based jobs.

Just watched a couple of episodes of Star Trek TNG on the new remastered bluray. They've cleaned it up well (no more pink hue) but its a pity they only did season one as its not exactly the best season of the show.
Plus, I was hoping the would use the newer technology to digitally remove Will Wheaton from the show completely, they didn't :(

Hey guys I know that this is severly OT but some of you are in to repairing old arcade boards so I thought that I'd give this a shot...

I don't suppose any of you here have one of these that I could borrow:

Thanks to some clown on the OpenWRT forums I now have a brick instead of a router.

Was thinking of pawning that off as a future gift for the O.H., already did it with the remastered original series. Got lucky there as she liked it herself, she isn't too fond of the TNG series though and has made it perfectly clear.
I'm in a bind as to how to do it!

    No, leave Wesley alone!
The real pointless character in the Star Trek franchise is Harry Kim, what a useless dolt.

Harrys Job was to frown at Tom Paris a lot.
