The De Jong transfer has REALLY pissed me off. Selling him for less than 4 million in the last year of his contract after buying him for over 20 from Hamburg under the same circumstances.

He's been one of my favourites since he signed and imo still had a big roll to play in the squad, especially with Barry injured and us looking to consolidate top spot in the league and get a foothold in the Champions League. For that price we might as well have gotten the year out of him then let him go on a free next summer.

Plenty of City fans equally unhappy about it :mad:

Tomorrow is going to be nerve wracking. It's been a while since a deadline day has gripped me...Thankfully the Bundesliga window closes at 6pm CET, so I wont have to wait as long to see if we get vdV.

electric picnic has its own transfer tracker, not of the main leagues, it only does the less well known icelandic league, the leinster league and blue square north with a select few of the lower division south america and areas around the med

What do you think of the proposed Maicon signing? Think it was a bit odd myself when you've already got Richards and Zabaleta, although maybe Mancini plans to play that 3-5-2 a lot more and feels Zabaleta isn't good enough going forward to be a wing back.

Don't want him, to put it simply. Three years ago maybe but we're not exactly stuck in that position with Richards, Zabaleta and to some extent Milner.

Funnily enough, the transfer deadline day incident i remember the most was when you went to bed a modest City supporter and woke up a fan of the richest club in the world that had just signed Robhino.
