I don't know about that, I thought the 2009 squad was worse, so many tired legs and players who had lost the motivation to play. At least today, Milan look a fresher team with a lot of prospects (El Sharawy, Niang, De Sciglio, etc.) and a lot of very good players (Pato, Robinho, Boateng, Montolivo, De Jong, etc.).

I'd still be shocked if he came to us.

Our interest is more than likely just being used by Dempsey and his agent into trying to hurry Liverpool to get a deal done while Fulham will be hoping it creates a bidding war.

If we get him I'd be delighted but I certainly don't think it will happen.

Honestly I can't see him going to Sunderland either, but if Liverpool don't go for him properly now for whatever reason he has left himself in a pretty poor position at the club, he may be forced to leave.

jonjo shelvey? tryin to think what players would be less valuable than dempsey, liverpool could let go and would suit the way jol plays. Considering they lose dembele and would be losing clint it looks like it would be a central player, either cm or acm id say shelvey or adam.
