If you're talking about a meet in Portlaoise, that will more than likely happen on a Saturday due to a lot of people being unfit to drive on Sunday because they don't have the willpower to not drink on saturday night :P

People, any news for a meet in September on a Sunday? :)

I asked last week if anyone wanted to do the C&C in Cherrywood this Sunday. Didn't get many responses. Not too late to start a thread on it now if people wanna go? ;)

That's actually Ralph Schumacher, Michaels little brother.

    Judging from this report:
    http://www.foxcrawl.com/2012/08/27/video-ralf-schumacher-shocking-accident-in-zandvoort-race-4-people-hospitalized/

It's actually more the fault, that the other pit-team didn't secure their cabling properly and left it hanging. Hence Ralph's spoiler caught the cabling.

I'd agree looking at the video. Because why would you have that high beam and then leave the cabling dangling wide.

That's why they wear helmets in the pit :)

That's why the F1 teams always have a guy standing out holding back the cables. But I suspect they were waiting for their own guy to come in and the guy that would be holding the cable was more interested in where his car was rather than the one pulling away.

Aye. Definatly not Ralphs fault as such.

Excuse the ignorance but is that a fancy description of a mechanic or is it a different separate qualification obtained after qualifying as a mechanic?

Technician is just the modern term for mechanic as modern cars require much more then just mechanical diagnosis/repairs etc.

Is it an N15 Almera you have? They don't have a dimmer switch for the instruments.

    Yep, N15.

Got it sorted in the end, much to my embarrassment, I didn't realise the headlights had to be on for the dash to light up. :o:p

yeah yeah... 4 door, auto, non turbo, all the wrong moves.

but i'm totally taken by it, for road presence, reliability and comfort i'd say its hard beaten. think of it as a japanese 7 series :)

    :eek:I missed a post about a Skyline:eek::P

I prefer R34 saloons with the factory option Nismo lip kit.

Although a lad I know had one of the nicest R34 saloons going at one stage, I used it as my wedding car just before it was sold to a guy in Germany:(
