Poverty-spec seats, though, and won't have all the toys (cruise control, heated seats). Think I'd rather spend a couple of hundred more and get the more loaded version. They're a nice bus, though, no question.

sure its less to fix, why not go for the v6 then if your going all out ?

    Suppose. Looks like crap, though.

Looks the same shade of red as that pink Golf GTI.

I can honestly say that I wouldn't drive it for free. I would feel dirty if I had to sit in a yoke like that.

The comments on that ad just remind me why I would never use adverts.ie to sell anything. Asking price of €750 and the first comment is an offer of 1/3 of the asking. Timewasters.

Adverts is like a auction. The bids keep rising until the seller agrees on the highest at the time. If the reserve isn't met, its not harm. But since nobody knows the reserve, its not a bad idea to drop in a low bid.

I don't see the harm in it. The only times I see people get pissy about it, is when they are selling a piece of crap and only get low offers. Which is fair enough.

The same reason as most others - the tax that goes with it :(

Because the last V6 I saw was 2-3 times the average price of the 2L, primarily. :) I see your point, and they're a good car for little money these days, but I'd rather get a better specced one as the price difference is small (and yes, I am actually considering buying one at the moment as my bangernomics car).

Looks well, long test and some recent work. If it checks out, it's a nice motor for the money.

The belt might need doing and the door issue might need a respray to flash in after repair. Other than that its very good value imo.

Seems like alot for a known to be troublesome engine with 169k and 13 years of wear on it!

    Clean looking Saab here.

2 litre turbo (LPT I think they were mind), FSH, NCT 03/13, low mileage and I'm sure could be driven away for €500. Nice cheap motoring there.

Used to have one and wouldn't buy one again.
It looks like a sports car but isn't really a sports car. 124bph isn't that much for a car that size. Although it's based on a Mondeo parts are quite expensive too when something goes wrong...
