Since scouts came up earlier I think we may send some to Swansea this year. They have a few potentially exciting players and Taylor looks good at Full back every time I see him.

Is Henriquez a striker like Ruud or more of a Rooney type does anyone know?

He's like Ruud apparently. He idolizes Ruud too.

Any news on Angelo Henriquez signing for Manutd or details on a fee agreed?

Didn't we get fee for Pogba?

Arsenal paid for Fabregas too right and we paid for Petrucci, Macheda, Pogba.
Could be slightly different as those players were on youth contracts. Regardless of contract, the compensation is generally minimal when a foreign club is involved.

Probably neither, you're talking about 2 of the most unique strikers we have seen.

I'm only basing my opinions on a 10 min YouTube video I saw, but what 18 year old has 10 mins of just goals, no skills or nice passes where the move breaks down like so so many YouTube vids, it was all goals. He looks to have great pace, super control, a finisher's instinct and an eye for the spectacular. Then again, Chilean league, pinch of salt, it's only YouTube etc.

Shame that the 10 min vid has been taken down due to copyright, but it was class. I seent it.

Okay a player more renowned for his goalscoring or an all round forward that contributes without scoring.

(I know Ruud could do more than score but it was the thing he will be remembered for)

I've read/heard scouts describe him as a better all round player than Hernandez. Also heard him described as a Tevez/Lavezzi type, i.e. diminutive, strong player. Although hes just short of 6ft so hes average height really.

He had no scoring record of note before this season. He impressed in training against the first team. Coach liked him so much he put him in the starting XI and he started scoring regularly. So hes had one really good season but Utd have obviously been following for longer than that having impressed at a youth tournament. Some of his most impressive performances have come in the Copa Libertadores which is not to be taken lightly.

What i'd like to see :-
    de Gea
    Rafael, Vidic, Evans, Evra,
    Valencia, Carrick, Cleverley, Young,
    Kagawa,
    RVP.

That would do for me too.

They are my plans for Manchester United in FIFA 13.

But in real life that's Michael Carrick on his own in the middle, and considering we get over-run when we play 2 and sometimes 3 in there, he would absolutely drown.

I thought SAF said after the game on Monday that Evans (or any injured parties) wouldn't be fit for the game against Fulham?

I actually think we could get away with Jame Gumbs lineup, however, only at old Trafford and against opposition that we should be beating handily.

    De Gea

    Rafael-Evans-Vidic-Evra
    Carrick-Cleverley
    Valencia-Rooney-Kagawa
    van Persie

Lindegaard, Wooton, Buttner, Hernandez, Welbeck, Young, Scholes.

Very early for Buttner, but he isn't a youth prospect and we have f-all other senior defensive players to select, so no harm having him on the bench.
Thats the team I would like to see start.I would have Nani on the bench as well instead of Welbeck probably.

I'd only propose using that line up against cannon fodder at Old Trafford.

Extra midfielder required against better sides.

Match could finish about 7-4! It would be an interesting experiment some day.

But Fulham have Dembele (Half the thread want him at United), the experienced Diarra and creative Bryan Ruiz in the central area so it could be dangerous to only go with Carrick on front of defence.

    True.

It's gonna be very hard to get the best out of Rooney, Kagawa and Van Persie and have adequate cover in the middle of the park.

I just don't see the point in starting Scholes anymore. Obviously hes the best passer Utd have but he can't last 90mins and even in the first 60/70mins he will be caught out defensively.

Stick him on for the last 20/30mins when the other team are aren't as fresh and less likely to over run him.

With Carrick a certain starter, I think its best to give Cleverly or Anderson a shot at it. See can they step up and last an extended period of time without getting injured. They're not going to step up when coming on as subs.

Whatever the lineup I just don't want to see Valencia at RB. It was ridiculous to play him ahead of Rafael. Im not blaming Valencia for our performance on Monday but it p*sses me off to see players unnecessarily played out of position. His link up play with nani was good at times, but it could equally have been as good with Raf. Just play him on the wing where he's supposed to be.
