The're not bad solutions , thanks sol. Even having some obsidian pipes to suck up any dropped items would fix it.
LOL! Can't believe I forgot about obsidian pipes, especially given how I use them myself!
As for the fire damage, that might have been left on after we did the server migration, We'll have to look it up
Spreading is also wonky, as vanilla-compliant fireplaces are still burning stuff down - I experimented with mine after it gutted the inside of my tower and noticed fire spreading to wooden stairs 5-6 blocks above the fire - the normal vertical spread is 1 below and 4 above. Needless to say I replaced a good few stairs with stone ones and the house fires stopped, but as I was flying around the server checking out new stuffs I noticed some wood houses had been gutted.
Oh! One final thing: this is a PvE server, so can people please upgrade their external doors to iron ASAP? I also saw a lot of buildings minus doors as zombies had pwned the wooden ones, and while I could replace Scody's with an iron one as his was Lockette'd I can't upgrade places with no door locks
I also saw lots of chests without Lockette, which is a bit dangerous given some buildings have unprotected roof access... EE blocks DO work with Lockette on this server!

I have persistently reminded people to lock chests and doors. I even made a custom lockette config for all the EE stuff.
Lockette should stop zombles breaking wooden doors too afaik.0 -
It doesn't, can't remember what extra plugin was used on the Boards 1.2 server, on this one locked wooden doors still get popped, I gave up trying to protect my mineshaft against zombie attacks back at the beginning as I was having a hard enough job just keeping the front door on before I upgraded it 0

I had assumed it did. I'll look into the anti-zombie-breaking-doors plugin.0 -

Lockette can make doors user only. For example write this text on a sign above a door
[Private]

Computer craft can make doors password protected but I'd say that you could bypass it by a lever. However that would be a class of greifing and I could find out who placed it
Also it's worth noting that all chests (normal, iron, crystal) can be locked in this manner.0 -
