Just wanted to see what i would need to do to secure an air rifle license. I have a license for an under over shotgun for the last month i have a firearms safety cert that i used for getting the shotgun will that cover me on the proof of compitance section?

If your competency cert mentions/covers that during the course you were made familiar with the safe working of rifles then yes. Otherwise i think not.

As for what to do. It's pretty much the same as the shotgun. Club, land permission or range membership, secure accommodation (safe), competence/previous history with a rifle, etc, etc.

If you don't already have a safe (not a requisite for a shotgun) then you'll need one for the rifle - otherwise, it's all the same.
