Ah, the Negcon, pure controller bliss.

Y'know, I might buy a bunch of these, half them using a bandsaw and sell them as book ends. There's sod all people willingly using inferior analogue controller tech (what racing game enthusiast would seriously want to use this over a wheel?!), and I could do with the cash frankly. Panzer Dragoon Saga isn't going to pay for itself.

    Cheers for the idea, Ciderman!

Sometimes you just have to hand it to the Internet and congratulate it for its brilliance at immediately immortalizing stupidity:

Hey, that's great, it'll make my NeGcons even more valuable!

While you're at it, buy a bunch of Panzer Dragoon Saga's and smash them, driving the price up even farther!!!

Even better again, buy every Legend of the Dragoon and smash them too, not to increase the value of surviving copies, but just because it sucks donkey balls!

I love my NegCon, I just don't use it enough. I love weird controllers. I'd love a Densha de Go! controller.

For what you get in the pack, that's actually not that bad. Tempted to pre-order...

It's nice the way you get the dock with tv out. I wonder what the controller is like though. I would like one but $200 is a little steep for me.

I see what you did there SNK.

Pretend that your new handheld costs almost a grand so that when you do release it for $200 it seems cheap.

And you know what? It worked. I'm now trying to figure out where to get the funds to buy one. The docking station/joystick totally caught me off guard. I have instant want.

Sure to be a future collectable too and worth a small fortune given time.

Lol I'll have whatever you chaps are smoking! 200 for a glorified Neo Geo emulator? Insane.

No clicky NGP joystick, no sale. Actually, no sale anyway considering you could get a MVS for that price.

But it has a nice shiny AES shaped docking station and a stick!!!!

And it's 200 Dollars - so 162 euro. Although postage will probably bring it up to close to 200 euro. I wonder will it come with a representation of the original AES box?

I'd be interested in hearing what this joystick is like. Maybe it has a clicky arcade stick?

Both an AES and an MVS unit would cost less than that alright. But I already have both of them. And did I mention this is new and shiny?!

Distribution of the NEOGEO X GOLD entertainment system for European and Asian territories will be handled exclusively by BLAZE and Success Company

    Oh noes.

Well there goes any interest I previously had :(

Yeah... I'll stick to MVS emulators on my PSP for that kinda craic.

What does that mean? Are Blaze connected to those cheap/tacky clones?

Pretty much, and they made that 'ipod of retrogaming' that seems to be terrible going by the eurogamer review and uses freeware emulators probably without copyright.

What you really need is to get an MVS board, a vogatek supergun and a couple of sticks. There really is nothing like it ;)

Remember those cheap Megadrive handheld consoles? That was them. They're cheap ass clones. Unless they've seriously ramped up their production level now that SNK Playmore are involved, there's a high probability the construction won't be the best on these.

Horrible flooding in work this morning.

Was the room with the most expensive equipment in it too.

Two Dual Quad Core Mac Pros soaked!

Can I have them? I need a mirror for my bathroom

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,695 ✭✭✭DinoRex

I'm hoping they might be okay if I dry them out. They weren't powered on when the water main burst.

Gut them and stick the components in uncooked rice for a week or so. Usually does the trick if they've not been powered up during or after the flooding.

Unfortunately sort of need to leave them where they are for the moment until the assessors get here.

Surely you can look totally smug without having to own a Mac too?

I'm disappointed. I wanted to buy Rollercoaster on Laserdisc and the stupid thing has no Sensurround track on it. Stupidly, the cheapo DVD release has a Sensurround 3.1 track on it.

That sucks big babboons buttocks. Where can I master my own Laserdisc.

AVGN, Pat The NES Punk, & The Game Chasers were tricked into doing it? Why is the video still up on cinemassacre? Why is the kickstarter page still running?
