OK, Kate Bush and the building of that pyramid in the centre of the Union Jack was pretty cool.

It's a pity it was just a Kate Bush CD :/

They should have bleeped out the "imagine there's no countries" bit.

Still recovering from Russell Brand destroying the Beatles. My ears/eyes should have imploded from indignation.

I thought I was tripping on something when he came out. Maybe the organisers were?

This closing ceremony is no opening ceremony. I should be wary of anything calling itself the "best party ever" from now on, it always turns out be severely underwhelming, like the Volvo Ocean Race (this year.)

Never before has the Greece National Anthem been so soothing.

Surprised they didn't get John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John to perform it.

He has tarnished the line in my location. TARNISHED IT.

I don't want the Olympics to be over :(

I'm having withdrawal symptoms already. BBC HD are showing the highlights, that'd be grand but it's in 3D. I don't have a 3D tv :(

    What the-?

Cartoons? On RTE? In the middle of the day? :(:(

I miss you already Olympics! :(

The closing ceremony was a bit lame in my opinion. Jesse J... what the f*ck?

I'll leave it in the capable hands of Jako8:
When you sing that song "Price Tag" while being driven around Wembley in a ****ing Bentley you know you might be missing the point of your own song. That's also the point at which you know you've made more money than most surgeons make in 20 years and you don't care what some idiot writes on facebook because you're going home to your gold-plated dog which, in hindsight, was a bad idea.

Ed Sheeran fans thought "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd was a new song. Faith in humanity D:

i actually watched some of that last night. It's something that I never thought I'd enjoy watching, but it's oddly engrossing!

His goal is to compete in the able bodied games at some point.
