Re the mancini thing, it was sent in by someone a few days ago on the yahoo transfer ticker. Was very surprised and didn't think anything of it. Still don't.

I've always envisioned Ganso playing for Milan tbh. I still think he will.

Incedentally that's where I think he'll end up if he does go to Europe. Great minds eh. :pac:

Strong rumours from Spurs sources that Ade is done and dusted on a perm deal! Good start to the window from Spurs ... AVB, Gyfli, Vert and Ade

His agent (Ganso) says he is looking into getting a deal to Internacional done, I don't see how they could afford him though. Selling and getting someone to fund part of the wages maybe.

Milan is the only realistic European team right now anyway

well it would only be 45% of his contract that needs to bought. he is 55% owned by his agent/manager. maybe the agent is going to help buy out santos with a view to a big profit next summer.

i'd not mind seeing him at Milan but id be worried about his injury record.

him infront of Boateng, Montolivo and Nocerino would be nice behind Ibra and Pato/Cassano.
only way it could happen is if Milan were to swap him for Robinho. Who is still a god at Santos.

Ganso to Internacional. Oscar to Spurs. Van der Vaart to HSV.

    Hopefully.

We can rule out Mancini going to Russia . He's just signed a new deal at Man City

Yep put that to bed quickly!

    5 years deal

Also, Lucas has revealed that Inter have made contact with his agent about a move to Serie A, would be extremely jealous :(
I honestly can't see that happening with the money Sao Paulo are looking for, I won't be too disappointed if it doesn't either because I'd prefer to use Coutinho
and spend the money on defence, where it is needed more.

He has rubbished those reports himself, I rememver reading it last night, Ill try dig up a link for you, (may have actually been on SSN teletext) the jist was that he is not going anywhere, he is happy and that Spurs had made an enquiry to his agent but nothing official to the club and that there is nothing unusual about that as it happens all the time when a young player does well.
I don't think he has rubbished them reports tbh, rumours have it that we're in for both himself and Damiao. This is a recent quote from Oscar, "I don't know what might happen; I'm not thinking of it right now. It's not only Tottenham who want me—offers always come for me, Damiao and whoever is showing up."

I don't remember where I read the exact comment, I think it was SSN? He said when questioned about Spurs interest that he didn't know, he knew there had certainly been nothing official anyway and that teams being interested in young players when they play well is normal.

    Wang haibo to west ham

    This is what I read
“Tottenham did contact my agent but I am focusing on Internacional,” said Oscar. “That will always happen. I don’t know if there was an official offer. But for those that are young and impress a bit, this is normal. I can’t worry about this. I’m not thinking about leaving Internacional now.”

Seemed to suggest to me he was saying it was a no go, the last sentence particularly :)

Of course, money talks and its football, anything can happen

He's lying. It's impossible to say "Im not thinking of leaving Internacional" and truthfully not be thinking about. That's like me saying "Im not thinking about that picture of Paul Scholes with his cock hanging out of his shorts". Suffice to say, Im suddenly thinking about it. And I bet you all are too now.

    Chelsea win The Oscar!

Daily Fail claims we have signed him for 25 million!

Could be instead of Hulk, on the right wing

Mata and hazard could rotate or one of them pushed out the left wing

Marin will be a bench player

Well the hulk deal seems dead in the water so it's only logical that chelsea would move for someone else.

If it's true, that's disappointing. We don't exactly need him with Gylfi and vdV, but Chelsea need him a lot less.

Really:eek: Chelsea have a chronic shortage of good technical attacking players. We will need one more to add to mata and hazard.

Maybe its because AVB wanted him?

Mata, Hazard, Marin and Lampard can all play the AM role though, add to that all the midfielders ye have, it's not like ye need another! LB, striker and to a lesser extent CB should be ye're priorites IMO.

@SgtPepper I don't understand your point?? You mean when he was at Chelsea? Because Spurs have been linked with Oscar for quite a while now, Damiao also.

AVB identified him whilst at Chelsea, so maybe we moved on him only after the spurs interest was reported, just to stop spurs getting him?
We have stock players before (or so it seems)
Maybe we wouldnt have bothered if Spurs wasnt interested is what I am saying!

It seems to have originated from the Daily Fail? Nobody in Brazil is reporting anything about Oscar to Chelsea.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,794 ✭✭✭Big Pussy Bonpensiero

£25 million is a lot just to spite a former manager, and it's also a lot to spend on someone who will more than likely be a bench player. I suppose he's still very young, could pay off very nicely (assuming it's all true, the Daily Fail is a nothing newspaper, wouldn't trust them to tell me the colour of the sky)..

Yep could be just a summing up of the brazil stories

How many big money success stories have there been with players signed directly from Brazil to England?

A handful if even I would say.

    *Prepares to be proved wrong.

    ?

You say we, so you are a Chelsea fan? How do you come up with that theory so fella?

Chronic shortage of good technical attacking players

    Mata/Hazard/Sturridge/Marin/Ramires/Kakuta/De Bryun/McEachrann/Meireles/Torres

And whoever else will be signed, its hardly a chronic shortage now!

Agree with this. I'd happily wager that none of Oscar, Ganso or Lucas Moura will be playing in England next season.
