What's the story behind that punto BW? Did you just buy it off dgt is it?

Engine and gearbox changed, (alot more work went in, but youl have to ask himself about the rest.) Cracking car, spotless inside, a few very minor nicks on the paint work. as you will have with an 11 year old car. 51,000 miles. Very few things needed to be done to get her on the road, I just need the money, but I have a cash flow problem. Cash flows out of my pockets to quick. :pac:

But ya, I bought it off him and Im delighted I bought it. :)

going out to wash my car again now for the 3rd time this week. hopefully i'l get until tonight out of the wash.

seems this rain is never ending. i dont mind cleaning the car a few times a week, i would normally do anyway, just the rain is so disheartening.

also my girlfriend lives in the country and farmers drag so much "chunky mud" out onto the roads, driving them in the rain is soul destroying

    :(

It's not as bad as it sounds on that vid...it's always hard to gauge through the camera mic!

But it's loud:D The way it should be!

    Mmmm, straight six!
It sounds raspy as hell, for such a smooth engine it sounds nice and aggressive.

Got around to finishing the job on the landcruiser's alloys, popped them back on today. They probably look a bit better in the pics but I'm happy enough with the outcome... Total spent €35

Poor microphone makes it sound raspier than it is tbh. If I had proper audio gear it would sound more true. There's definitely a rasp to it, but not as bad. Still though...:D

Not a successful detailing day by all means I had turned the car around to avoid the heat but it wasn't lon before the shade disappeared in parts!

    A Pillar:

    img1278medium.jpg

It wasn't the worst hit panel..I may have to come back to this as the heat ate the compound :( however it was only small swirling before and moved 85% from what I could see:

    BEFORE:

    AFTER:

I then clayed the mouldings and started passenger rear...got a fright when I saw the pad covered in paint...but talking with Curran on detailingrepublic.ie
we reckon these may have been painted at some stage as the underneath is perfect :) ..I retired after the first trim as I wanted to make sure no damage was done.

    Uh-oh! :(

    AFTER:

    ......almost there

Moar loud! Resonator delete in progress!
How much for the delete? Just a straight through pipe in its place?
I hear you usually get more high end power from the delete with some loss in torque.
