dgt, I was thinking of turning that Polo into a convertable next time I was up! Sure feck it, it was taking up your space in your yard. :P

Can't wait to see you finished with your 406 though! Such a difference it will make for your long haul journeys. :D

Edit: The only thing I can see that pipe doing is a interesting way of connecting 2 cylinders together. Will it kill an engine or do something silly to it? I think it could increase pressure, but that's can't put it into words.

Is it some sort of performance mod? sure why not fab up a straight through exhaust, blank the egr, and a remap? Total sleeper then :D.

The slow process of tractor-ising a car begins... An uneconomic repair car if anyone is wondering. Better this than sending it to a scrapyard working

This was suggested and I think I'll go with that. More useful that way to me!

Has any one fitted these, brought some from micks garage on line, zafira 2008 wind deflectors , followed the on line video ,read instructions.
the window on both sides rub and struggle to go up (these are the ones thay fit in the window channel, not stuck on outside)
i left windows for 24hrs as instructed in thw video, but still struggle to go up,
cant see how these work ,if your going to put a extra bit of plastic and a clips in between the channel and window surely its going to rub ?
like to hear from any body who has fitted these .
    thanks

They can be an awkward fit on some cars, even if they are for that car. The climair deflectors are a bit more expensive but are easy to install and don't require the metal clips.
