The Minutes, The Justice Tonight Band and The Wailers are the support acts.

Tis only a 15-20min walk, if the weather is nice it'll be a good laugh on the walk down too. Luas will be wedged and traffic will be bad if you take a bus/cab

The Minutes are quality, they have a real driving straight up rock n roll sound.. Saw them at Indiependence in Cork last year..

As for the others, I'm not sure.

It's not walkable in under half an hour, more like 40 mins I would say.

You probably know by now that there's shuttle buses leave from the custom house. They usually have a special little bus set up like a stall that sells return tickets.
Don't walk it, it's well over an hours walk from O'Connell Bridge

It might be only 30/40 minutes to the edge of the Park from the city centre but the gig is on at the far side of the park so you'd need to add at least another 30 minutes on to that.

It's outdoors definitely. Wellies would be in order I'd say considering how bad the rain's been these past few days.

I seriously hope it's not another Spike Island for those attending.. Spike Island was one of the worst gigs I ever attended and by far the worst Roses gig by a country mile. Luckily enough, seeing the Roses in small pubs/clubs in Liverpool/Manchester etc. were by far the greatest gigs I ever attended, but the Roses outdoors in mega events have not been good in my experience, and why I decided to give this reunion a miss..

I do hope those who attend have a great time though :)

Nanny state rangers have locked both gates near the hole in the wall and are threatening to confiscate drink in the park.

Are you allowed drink cans in the Phoenix park? For a picnic like :)
