    On Giroud, saw a stat where he had the most headed attempts in the league last season. Seems to be an aerial thread, weird for Arsenal to go for a player like that.

    That's funny because I seen a stat earlier that showed of his 21 league goals, only one was a header, 16 were off his left foot. From what I heard of him I thought he'd score more headers. Three left footers up front for Arsenal then(at the minute!).

    Are you sure there was only one header? Thought i heard it mentioned somewhere that he had a few.

    Some rumours that Kevin Gameiro has agreed personal terms with Valencia.

    Not sure how much I believe them though as his wages at PSG are out of Valencia's league.

    Sao Paulo sacked their manager today. AVB was offered the job but he turned it down :(.
    Napoli are favourites to sign Shikabala from Zamalek, assistant at Zamalek says he wont be there after the Summer anyway. Around €2.5m he will cost. Poor signing for whoever gets him, his attitude is terrible and thinks he is better than he really is. Remind you of anyone? -

    I haven't seen one credible source myself to that and I can't see Liverpool bidding that much after the way the club did business last season.
    Time will tell i guess but I would prefer Liverpool to look elsewhere.

    That's the thing about twitter: 99% bs but it feeds the little transfer muppet in all of us as we see a story about a superstar who's definitely signing only to turn on SSN & see them having joined someone else.

    If I was to Guess what has happened at Spurs is that AVB has already been signed but can't be named until the first due to contract issues with Chelsea.

    I'd also hazard a guess that either Sherwood or AVB is who has asked Levy to go after sigurdsson and that Sigurdsson knows who the manager is after talks with the club.

    I would also doubt that we are paying more than 40-50K considering our wage cap I'd say he is taking Kranjcars place on the wage scale at best.

    Mario Mandzukic moves for approx. 13 mil. from Wolfsburg to Bayern on a 4 year deal.

    Gladbach have signed Alvaro Dominguez from Atletico Madrid for around 8 mil. on a 5 year deal.

    Joining on loan now instead for around €1m fee. I'm sure they have an agreed fee in there if they want to make it permanent.

    Yeah, there was weird information about that deal that Laurent Blanc told him if he wanted to play for France he should chose PSG. Don't know how much faith to put in that story though!

    A lot of Valencia fans still hold a grudge against Gameiro though i reckon.

    Petric to Fulham is popping up on my twitter timeline tonight.
    It has been reported tonight that Fulham have won the signature to sign free agent and former Hamburg striker Mladen Petric, allowing Martin Jol to work again with a player he coached during his spell at Hamburg.
    The 31 year old Croatian striker scored 38 goals in 98 games for Hamburg, including a fantastic free kick at Craven Cottage in the Europa League semi final in 2010.

    I don't know, to be honest. I'm not sure how their youth system is in comparison to Barça's. But yeah, he's one of the signings that's needed for the B team next season. The majority of fans following the team seem happy with him.
