Bit harsh, he was excellent all last season, extremely consistent.

Aww, that's so cute "I want to go to Newcastle to play with my best friend (and earn 50 grand a week after tax)!"

And that is assuming Cabaye doesn't get attracted elsewhere after a very good season...

West Ham and Feyenoord chasing Eljero Elia. West Ham!

He had so much promise. Could have been a great winger. He talked in almost every interview about wanting to play for a big club like Manchester United or Barca when he was at Hamburg instead of focusing on playing.

Napoli want Paolo Guerrero according to media in Germany and Peru. God knows why but I hope it's true.

Milan have signed Chievo defender Francesco Acerbi and Genoa midfielder Kevin Constant.

Acerbi was actually co-owned by Cheivo and Genoa and Genoa had just bought out Cheivo's 50% and instantly sold him to Milan, very good central defender and will give Mexs competition for the clot beside Thiago Silva.

Constant is a ball of enegry and a very good all round midfielder, will be a very handy squad player.

Two very good signings for Milan, especially since the news that Sully Muntari will be out until Christmas after having Knee Surgery today.

I'm not too sure, could be a great move for them. :)

Drogba has also signed for that Chinese club

Wigan have offered to double Victor Moses' wages over 3 years, Chelsea have had a "taking the mickey" bid of 3 million turned down.

I was about to ask for a source till I goggled his name to find the latest news. Brilliant piece of business by Lille! They could see close to double if not more what they've paid in a couple of years time if he continues to improve like he has done for the past couple of years.

AVB to Spurs would be a good move for both parties I think.

Yeah 8 million pounds it works out, cheap these days.

That's insane business by them. Wasn't he linked with Arsenal last summer for around 15m? Was it last year of contract that meant the fee was so low?

The 10 million hasn't been confirmed, but it's what the French media are saying.

Didn't have the best season last year, but still a player I highly rate.

Gattuso gone from Milan to FC Sion.

Yeah, think the season before last he had a crazy amount of assists. Something between 15-20 I think. Open to correction on that figure though.

He's been linked with a fair few clubs in England including Arsenal alright, as well as clubs abroad.

AFAIK, he wants to play for PSG as they are the club he supported growing up. But after signing Pastore last summer, it was never gonna to happen really.

Martin has set up 25 goals and scored five in the past two seasons at Sochaux

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,872 ✭✭✭Dickerty

They are some good stats. But depending on how a team is set-up, one player can be at the centre of a lot of things, especially if he is freed up of some defensive responsibilities. He had 10 assists in 40 games last season.

Hazard had 25, and 23 goals! Christ...

According to the Times, Real Madrid also want Modric.

TBH they've a better chance of getting Modric then Silva.

don't see how signing Modric would improve their chances of signing Silva.

    arf!

By a long way. But it may depend on Silva. If he suggest he would be interested, they may make it happen.

What is the story with Higuin constantly being mentioned as available or as a makeweight? Has he not done enough to deserve his place at Real?

I think Higuain would be outstanding in the EPL.

Last thing Man City need is another top class striker.

Although you could say the same regarding R.Madrid and creative midfielders.
