I just find it funny that your all sharing a wee peek at what the bears are up to, christ I don't even have an FF log in!
well if FF posters are as vile as those on rangersmedia then i dont want to look at it.

I see what you did there.
Tbf, the muddleboards t&c's are a terrifying read in themselves, I dread to think what the actual forum is like!

The vast majority of Rangers fans on FF are well aware that the place is infested with Celtic fans.

Our Battle now is to remain in the SPL with no sanctions

:D Deluded as well as permaraged.

Never read FF before except via links from elsewhere, it's interesting to get the views of the other side. They really hate Green though... almost as much as Whyte it seems.

Some Loon-bag over there is even suggesting Newco should apply for membership to the MLS because "3 Canadian teams" already play there. :pac:
    He's not even joking!

I see Charles Green wants clubs to ignore sporting integrity and do "what is right financially". Doing what financially is right is listening to your fans when they are threatening boycotts left right and centre. He also insists he not here to make a quick buck but wait there is another bid on the table because he is stoking up the fear amongst rich Rangers supporters with his 'plans'.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18527811
Housebuilders and property developers Allan Stewart and Stephen McKenna plan to bid about £11m for the club.

They hope to run Rangers for two to three years before floating the company on the Stock Exchange and handing the club over to the fans.

They just keep crawling out of the woodwork. Nobody wanted to be the people that failed to get a CVA and have Rangers liquidated, Charles Green is quite happy to have that stigma attached to him, for a price...

I don't know how many more 'new bids' I can handle, this had taken 30 years of my life!

Stewart and McKenna - property developers. Linked to controversial deal with Glasgow council and commonwealth games land in Dalmarnock.

Hmmm, an awful amount of questionable individuals looking to be involved at Rangers and we havent even seen who is backing Green yet!

I think Green has played a blinder! ... He's set himself up to make a tidy profit for himself.
Exactly what Whyte tried and failed to do.

That being said it could still all go tits up for him, but I think he'll turn a profit. He cares not a jot for the club or it's fans. Just the moolah!

Is that really advisable? We all want money and we want to get it as easily as possible but there must be easier ways for people with money to get even richer than to pi$$ off football fans. Screw some old age pension fund and no one gives a damn. Fans are very passionate about their clubs so fleece a football club and you'll be vilified forever.

Nobody was offering £11m to do a CVA and nobody wanted to be stigmatised by bringing the club through liquidation. Soon as Green done this and the stigma gets attached to him forever and bear in mind he hasnt revealed his backers to anyone not even Walter Smith when the prospect of merging their consortiums came up. There is two bids by apparently 'proper Rangers fans' who have better interests for the club than Green could ever have, apparently, after the damage was done. Where were they 4 months ago with their bids, even Kennedy said the club was beyond saving? The vultures circled and this is the carcass being picked clean.

Vilified by a clubs fans... So what? With a few million in his bank account, why would he care what a set of fans think of him. He has no connection to the club previous to buying its assets. No love for it or it's fans. Just a business move.

Stewart and McKenna have string of liquidated and dissolved companies. Up to whoever is selling club to conduct fit and proper person test.

LOL, go on Green, sell! :pac:

He could take the title of TGEF from Craig Whyte if he gets his paws on Newco Rangers!

Anyone read the story about Green buying Bury and forcing a way into the English Football League. How does an article like this get published when its completely baseless? Nixon is a "transfer gossip specialist" and I wouldnt be surprised if someone from Green's camp has incentivised him to write an article like this.

Total non story. Everything in it reeks of bull****. Cardiff and Swansea are not precedents at all.

Maybe but its not encouraging when you hear Wally Smith saying that Green wanted him to merge with his consortium but wouldnt give any details about his investors or tangible proof for his business plan. Something is up and I think he's trying to flip the club and I wouldnt rule out abit of propaganda to generate bids. One day its 6m from Smith, the next its £11m from asset strippers. What will it be tomorrow! :pac:

Ibrox itself must be worth €30 million in retail value ... I know it's been joked that it could be turned into an ASDA or Tesco... But in reality, what's stopping him?

TBH If Smith & Co. had wanted to get involved they would have done so long before green came on the scene - i don't want to speak ill of the man given everything he's done for our club, but his timing was light years off this time around.
I don't trust green one bit, but where was the likes of McColl last year?

The Asda across the road. ;)

it's not prime real estate around those parts - not a chance.
If anything it's Auchenhowie that will go.
