Ed Zachary - I have always been a fan of big-budget-huge-depreciation cars. Previous car was a 1992 230CE. The only problem with them of course is the road tax. But if you apply some man-maths, it's cheaper to run something like this over 5 years than a newer car that's more expensive to begin with.*

It's a great car though, bags of personality especially with the exhaust system I have on it. Music :D

*may not actually be true, but I can't hear you if you try and prove it wrong - la-la-la-la

    Not a chance!
Sure I've barely broken her in yet

I'll tell ya one thing though, it's a hell of a lot more fun to drive than a 1.4 golf

I agree. That comment makes absolutely no sense.

    Orange pilled.

    The a3 is the 140hp 2.0tdi
A lot more power than the 1.4 mkIV golf I had before

I actually enjoy getting into it to go to work/college etc.
Think it's a combination the power I have when i put the foot down and the upmarket feel inside the cabin

I found life is too narrow without 2 pillarless German coupes:

Just back from the 500mile drive in the UK to pick it up. Needs quite a bit of fixing (though the seller seemed to think it was fine..), but certainly looks the part. Its a 1987 Mercedes 560SEC btw, 5.6litre V8 S-class coupe.. like the one from "Roadhouse" but without the crippling US emissions garbage.

The grey model for anyone that doesnt know is a 850CSi, a V12 5.6litre coupe.

PS: I really should sell the Audi S8 now..
