Open diff so would be useless. The car just shredded through them after I put in the HSD's. Too much rear toe in. Must get it aligned before it eats the new ones as well.

    They look great!

Where did you get them done? A couple of my Monza's need some serious work.
    These chaps, based in Bray.

    http://wefixalloywheels.com/

Better doing all four at once, Has the fresh diamond cuts might look off compared to rest.

They did my brothers (mk5) a month ago, great job again but it had a slightly darker hue to it then the originals.

They've seem to have got it right on my set though.

If you dont mind me asking what kind of price do they charge? Do they take long to do?

Its was 125 each for the gti wheels guessing the diamond cutting has a factor.

Fairly straight forward. Easier than hand polishing it anyway.

Attempted a t belt change on the diesel barge...

People familiar with the XUD9 engine will appreciate how awkward it is to get the 11mm bolt on the rear cover off due to lack of room!

I learned that if you take the turbo pipe off you get much more room to play with, a tip for the future :)

But alas, I couldn't get the crank pulley bolt out. I ended up jumping 4 teeth back after the crank locking piece fell out :( no valve contact but still fairly annoyed to say the least

Waiting for the weekend to hire a compressor and a 1 inch airgun, the only way to get those bastards out

I've heard the 3M brand is the best. I was thinking of carbon fiber-ing some interior.

Post pics of whatever you get up to!

My GF's dad's worked for Nissan for over 30 years so I paid €65 for everything in the picture! :D

Bar the springs, picked those up today for €40, I'll be having them fitted by a mate of a mate in a garage so that shouldn't be too bad either. :)

    I'm crossing my fingers!
    Nice one, man.

    - Cleaned the interior

Spotted that in the OT thread, how come you're selling?
I thought you loved that car?

    Two reasons:
    - On the roads, that I drive daily, i'll break it (backroads, full of potholes). For a weekend car, there's no point, as I have the M5, so I don't drive it very often anymore. Not really good for a diesel.
    - Other reason: something else has come up and to free up cash for that, something has to go. I wasn't gonna sell the M5 !!

    /M

Well that all sounds reasonable, as long as you've still got the M5 to fly around in you're doing fine. :)

I know all about selling stuff to free up cash, it's always hard to sell the things you really like and they always go before the crap you just want out of your drawers! :(

Had two hours to spare so gave the Jag a quick whack of the Da, followed by a coat of super resin polish and now a coat lf jetseal. Gonna leave it settle for about 20 mins. Really impressed with the jetseal, two weeks since the last coat and its still beading like hell.

Polished the back and roof. I need to change back to the original boot though, completely off colour. Anyone have any ideas how to get the spoiler off that boot? It's glued on. I don't mind about damaging the boot door once the spoiler is okay.
