I can see a Hamlet question coming up on Ophelia's Electra Complex. They are running out of questions to ask, so I reckon it could be a juicy one.

Considering we've still never had a question on Laertes, Polonius or Horatio, I can see those happening before an Electra Complex. Few years time though, one on the whole oedupus/electa thing could be interesting.

Agreed. Everyone is going on about the women coming up on the paper, yet they were on in 2005. Polonius is fairly central to the Play and has never been examined, same with Horatio and even Laertes as he acts as the foil to Hamlet. I wouldn't be surprised to see a Revenge Question reoccuring on the paper this year with reference to the differences between Hamlet/Laertes and possibly Fortinbras as avengers. A lot of people have seemed to dismiss the theme or revenge as it appeared on the Paper last year, it could come as a shock to some people.

Why has nobody mentioned 'appearances vs reality' or poison/death imagery? they are fairly important no?

I disagree, I'd just point out how its the one thing that makes Claudius feel guilty and the main thing causing Hamlet to procrastinate. :L

I pray to God it will be!! Romeo & Juliet wouldn't be too bad either but Barry would kill me!

Your sarcasm and attempts to appear cool aren't really working. Unless I've completely missed the point and you're trying to seem like a massive twat? Anyway if you wouldn't mind, go away and stop derailing the thread :)

I must be one of the only people who actually likes Barry! i enjoy that piece! more than Bach anyway!

It'd be hard to get dictation in the Barry one I'd say, but you never know! If they ask Barry as 10marker, they'd probably ask about the homage to Horowitz I'd say.

BARRY FOR THE 25 MARKER! :D

I hate Bach, dislike Tchaikovsky and don't mine Bohemian Rhapsody. Hopefully a Minor for the Melody Composition (Q.1), Sean-nós essay and an easy Q.6 (like last years aural question).

Hey lads, do you have any predictions for the section Movements for Reform? I know that the GAA and the Land Question are tipped to come up, but does anyone else have any other predictions?

I love the Tchaik. Such a work.

minor would be great for q1 , Easy q4 and Sean os would be great! But there will be loads of Seanos in this question on Irish music as there was none last year!

I've a great thought on the Q6! I feel it would be such a great question. pm me if you want to know!

as a repeat i'm just going to say don't rely on predictions you really don't want to end up sitting through a paper in June where you haven't a clue what to write on a question especially when we still have time to learn the whole course now!
