I also hate the crap people bring up about thinking they thought the end of evictions in Ireland came about when the British land lords left.

The irony is the guy getting evicted is a landlord, and you can bet your life he'd be evicting people if they didn't pay him a penny for almost 4 years.

Why did that last male caller insist on calling him "Mr. Kelly" all the time I wonder? Was he part of Mr. Kelly's staff I wonder?:)

Frank was into evictions before they became popular

this man is just confused, he went for a drive and came back to the wrong house... different locks.

I hate the word "begruger". If a guy living in a €10m castle in dalkey turned out to be a serial rapist, you'd be called a begruger if you said he should be stuck in jail.
Any negativity towards people with money is begrugery.

I wonder how many properties mick had. i don't believe him.

In the midst of that audio "shamozzle" D'Omen admitted he has no access to texts in the studio. So, Joe encourages his faithful everyday to text in, yet he can't read them? Is that not akin to the ITV text ' scandal' a few years ago?

I sense a complaint to the BCI coming from an OUTRAGED listener (me, if I have time or am very, very bored ).

    Dear Joe,

Where are you? You have missed out on some great radio. Your people are now on. You could relate to those poor people in the tent outside their family home.

Callers are saying its like scenes out of famine pictures from the 1800s. Though famine tenants seemed to be evicted from much worse than a tent on the side of a paved footpath.

Other are saying how sad it is that IRBC (sorry Anglo) are evicting them after all they are only poor old people, with several rental properties around the country. In my mind Anglo are doing them a faviour by putting them out, no household charge, no water rates. Lets faces a 5 bed, 4 bath house would cost a fortune to run in the next few years, not to mention the water needed for the hydrangeas. No I can only see this as good.

I can't image that these poor people ever evicted their tenants out on to the street.

Anyway, Joe we miss you dearly, please return before other great debates appear on your show, imagine you may be left with just Funny Friday.

    Yours sincerely,

    A fan.

I think the researchers filter out the best comments and send them into damo. That was a bit one sided. One person was against the couple, and about 3 for them. Looking at the boards thread, 90% of people are against them.

Who is this Damien guy? He is totally inexperienced for a show of the calibre of liveline. Is this guy the best stand-in for Joe that RTE can find? if so I want my licence money back.

If Lahv Lahn lost all of its callers who are of unsound mind, there would be no Lahv Lahn.
