I've been tvless for years, would never go back, start on doing those things that you always wanted to do but never found the time, or just watch tv online

I called my Grandma earlier for a bit of a catch up but she wasn't home, the answerphone message is still my Grandpa's voice! It's been nearly six months since he died, I suppose she couldn't bear to delete it. It was actually really nice hearing his voice again

That is beyond amazing Fishie, really really treasure that. I'd give any amount of money to hear my grandpa's voice just one more time

Not far off the 10,000 posts again. I swear it was just the other day that we started V4!

Can someone give me a kick up the arse to do this last assignment? :(

Wrecked - out for nearly four hours at the garden, most of it trying to cut the lawn. Between the wheel falling off three times and the engine not working properly, and making loud bangs - it was starting to get really annoying! Could fall asleep very easily atm

we get asked occasionally at work to give voicemail recordings to bereaved family. Its never nice dealing with a call where a customer has died though. a lot of people just ring in and say they passed away to cancel their account and get things sorted out, but I remember one time this guy rang in angrily questioning a bill that was in a womans name, he didnt say anything at first aside from why we were sending bills and I explained it was as active account in a ladys name, then he broke down crying on the call and explained it was his wife and she had been killed a few weeks earlier. I wound up chatting for nearly 20 minutes to this guy I didnt know from adam about random stuff, he even apologised for being annoyed with me, he knew we werent to know she had died but I guess its a shock seeing someones name on a bill coming in when they're gone.

Just saw 21 Jump Street, so funny :D Although am finding the cinema is a more expensive trip out than if I go drinking.. :/

Also, it's rated 15 and there was kids infront of us, no more than 10, shouting profanities and racist comments the whole way through, really annoyed me >:(

bad doesn't come close to describing my day....

awake til 3am just because I was so anxious I couldn't sleep. Woken up at 6ish with awful cramps, took painkillers - went back to bed. Up at 9 - more painkillers - fell into a really deep sleep when I went to lie down so I ended up all sleepy and confused when I woke up at 1pm.

Then I broke 3 glasses today - ended up spilling cold tea and mi wadi (sp?) all over my bedroom floor. The third glass shattered and I spend ages cleaning up the glass in the kitchen...My mum was all mad at me for being unproductive (waking late) and for the mess so I ended up cleaning up after their breckfast and hovering downstairs (afraid someone would stand on glass). Then I made everyone lunch and cleaned up the mess after that only for my brother to stoll back in and decide he didn't want what I'd spent a good hour and a half preparing. (I was in a terrible mood so I was pretty close to throwing the plate at him....)

Then I tried to study, only to get stuck on the very first thing I looked at. Felt like crying. Tried to work it out and couldn't. Just went through something else for 2 hours. Pretty much resigned to the fact that I'll be repeating my first year exams in August after I fail them in May....

Went back into the Kitchen, everyone had eaten and left all the dishes, frying pans etc. out. I get landed with cleaning it up again.

Then my dad started cursing and shouting at me over basically nothing. He just lost it and pushed me out of the room. Worst bit is he won't even recognise that he's done something wrong. Everyone else has the problem...

So I'm taking more painkillers and going to bed....

So my OH has wanted an acoustic guitar for as long as I've known him and years more. Yesterday we were in a music shop in town and he saw one he loved. It's his birthday next month but I just didn't have the money for it. Later yesterday afternoon I told him if he wanted I could pay half towards it for his prezzie, he went straight up to the shop that minute and bought it. So now I have a super happy boyfriend who is already damn good and has mastered about 7/8 songs in a day from watching youtube tutorials. I'm seriously impressed.

I also have a sexy musician boyfriend :D

The baby has leaned to do a robot dance.

Watching him today doing it in his TMNT t-shirt, I realised that this is what I envisioned parenthood to be. Awesome.

I hate McSavages standup but I think the show is the best thing RTE had made in donkeys years. It absolutely nails modern Ireland.
