Horan is done tbh... most of the peno owens gave against ross should have gone against horan.

Man we need ryan and poc back

Most of the back line moves if they can even be called moves were a joke.

It'll be a different Munster performance on Easter Sunday. Hopefully a different refereeing performance.

Scots are saying Glasgow are playing Munster in Musgrave Park and so they're confident.

Not even a losing BP, what a disaster.

Bar Sherry's 30 minutes, I can't think of any positives from a Munster perspective.

Earls in defence only other positive.

Bad game for a neutral. Subs told the story.

Munster will be a different animal next week if POC and Ryan are back.

Glad to see BOD getting thru the game

Sad but not unexpected result. Any word on Earls? All we need is more injuries. :(

If Munster can't beat Leinster at home with one of the most home sided refeering I have ever seen then it looks very good for us. Roll on next week boys!

Madigan and Zebo were both very good.

    Ha. Whos been smoking what?

It would make sense if he moved (not necessarily to Munster), he won't be first choice at Leinster.

Joe Schmidt really disappointed with Owens at the scrum. He thinks Ross was doing nothing wrong and Horan wasn't keeping his shoulders above his hips.

Pope said it was a waste to have him playing second fiddle to sexton, when he should be getting as much game time as possible.

I thought ROG was the 3rd best outhalf on the pitch tonight.

    Dylan Hartley
Schmidt not happy with Owens interpretation of the scrum to say the least.

Standout for Leinster Isa, Fitz, Jennings, Heaslip.

Worried that BOD is is a long way from match level fitness.

Does Pope realise that Madigan has played more rugby than Sexton this season?

We'll happily give him 60 minutes every week in Galway then bring on Dan Parks to close out the games he hasn't won himself :p

He's not wrong though. Just not to Munster :)

The entire panel appear to agree, which is unusual.

Anthony Foley gives his usual clear headed analysis but kicks to touch on the scrum.

He is going to stuck as second choice unless he moves, Sexton has an international contract.

Axel Foley with a heart on sleeve interview. He looks gutted.

Fitz was very lively this evening. Did the basics well and made some decent half breaks.

Heaslip was only so-so in the 1st half but stepped it up in the 2nd. Necewa was class as always.

Typical RTE; Leinster develop a hugely promising out-half.... so naturally they are at fault for not giving him enough game time and he should leave....

Just on the scrum thing... The last two games I have done not one scrum went down. Junion Rugby in Leinster is where it is at if you want to watch a rugby match :)

At the risk of counting chickens...

Leinster should have enough to beat Cardiff next week even with BOD not fully fit. There are three matches (including Cardiff) between now and a potential HEC semi final so that should be plenty of time to get him back where he needs to be.

Does Pope realise that Madigan has played more rugby than Sexton this season?

in the next few years... how many HC games do you see him playing at 10 for leinster?.. which at the end of the day is what he needs.

He is going to stuck as second choice unless he moves, Sexton has an international contract.

He plays in a team that has two scrum halves
Two loose head props, three tight head props and more than enough back three players available to cover any gaps.

He also plays in a team with a coach who rewards and rotates excellently.

If Sexton is first choice Irish OH, he'll also be first choice Leinster OH for at least 1/4 of every season.

Leinster have given him plenty gametime but Sexton will be first choice (rightly) for the next few years.

Madigan will only leave Leinster when he claims his spot on the Ireland bench, meaning Leinster will need additional cover at OH for a sizeable portion of the season.
