No thats a terrible idea,ppl will know its me then thats in the enemies spawn

About time deathstreaks disappeared once and for all that (Last Stand included).

Only problem with having all those game modes is it fecks up the numbers playing on conventional playlists.

Maybe have an "old school" game option, with 3-5-7 killstreaks.. as a compromise between the two.

Also, it would be a nice tip o' the hat to all of the CoD4 players..

Very few people will play a 3-5-7 mode like in BOPS, unless like I said with Barebones, there is an increase in points. Most people spend time ranking up and as quickly as possible. I don't want to be left in the wake of others who can get more points by chopper gunners, etc ie: regular gametypes.

Please make a game that doesn't let people sit in a room, whereby they have something covering their back. They do nothing but promote camping. Get rid if the death streaks.....fcuking dead's man hand

If someone is going 0 and 6, the next time they die, just give them a kill ffs. Change their score to 1 and 6. I'd prefer that than me dying because I win a gunfight? Death streaks = rage quitting. I was in a game recently...........a lad on my team was doing well. 14-0 (maybe) I was running behind him......he killed a guy and was killed by dead man's hand. Left the game instantly, I loled but it actually isnt funny at all. Take the things out of the game.
I'm really looking forward to black ops 2 because I think this time treyarch will get it right. They will sort Ghost and last stand.

other than that black ops is a better game imo.

Why do people say get rid of deathstreaks? There was none in Blops and won't be any in Blops 2. Im sure treyarch will look at some of the good things added in MW3 and Vonderhaar has already said they will look at changing ghost and getting rid of 2nd chance.

I very confident that Blops 2 will be alot better than recent COD releases!
They added alot more over MW2..
I mean wagers and theatre were brill..

They dont have deathstreaks or ******y heart beat monitors.. I'm sure they'll get rid of 2nd chance and things that the community gave out about!

Never really looked forward to a COD release tbh but am looking forward to Blops2!

Blops was my favorite. The only thing I'd ask them to change going forward is Ghost and 2nd chance.

Other than that, I really liked the game. Support streaks and death streaks are a joke. Why should a bad player be rewarded? It makes no sense. I really hope they're not brought over..

(nothin like painkiller though)

Juiced is the equivalent of commando pro, just for a few seconds though. Not a fan of that one.. actually, I've just looked at them all to refresh my memory and I still hate every last one of them :pac:

Maybe I jumped the gun with support streaks. As long as they're not lethal I don't really mind. Stealth bombers should definitely be taken out!

The ones that I don't really have beef with are:

UAV
C UAV
Ballistic Vest
SAM Turret
Recon Drone
Advanced UAV

IMO, all the others should not be there.

UAVs being in support streaks is one of the biggest issues in the game. UAVs are being handed out for basically being in the game for over a minute, this makes more people use assassin and its equivalent.

Assassin should have been nerfed ages ago. It should not be immune to EMPs and they should show up on either baby monitors or motion sensors (I don't use either but it's still ridic how powerful it is)

It's the only way you'll get people to even consider using an alternative 2nd tier perk

People would use it less if UAVs weren't being called in every 20 seconds due to support streaks.

True. The fact of the matter is though they're never going to remove support streaks but they could possibly (probably never will) nerf Assassin pro.

TBH, the only thing that I actually think is a good idea in MW3 is Specialist .

If support streaks are back then a UAV should be a 10 point streak, that would reduce the spamming of uav's every 2 seconds

Aye, UAV's in general are far too easy to get, especially if they are going to nerf ghost. If there was no ghost they'd be by far the most powerful killstreak in the game. At least for the amount of effort it takes to get one.

If UAVs or spyplanes are visible in the sky and not a game of where's wally they're grand such as in mw2. Assassin is too powerful and overused in mw3 for a multitude of reasons such as: support point-streaks stacking, map skyboxes are too cluttered, branches, telephone cables, stop rockets, scavenger not replenishing defensive rockets, emp immunity, weak alternative perks and so on. That's without trying to cope with ridiculous spawns.

I really hope this games goes with a stripped down approach and go back to core CoD basics (only the goodparts) coupled with user friendly parts of other franchises like ranked and unranked games from halo, snipers & shottie only gamemode or playlist, even having more map choices in the lobby rather than just 1 or 2.

You'd swear that this thread was for MW4 rather than BLOPS2 given a lot of the comments so far. Treyarch were smart enough not to blindly follow WM2 mistakes in BLOPS and they produced one of the most balanced game in the series so far, i doubt they'll feel compelled to take features from the cluster**** that was IW/Sledgehammer/Raven's MW3.

Treyarch are the ones who got rid of stopping power in the first place. That causes a crazy amount of people to use ghost/assassin cause they aren't losing their stopping power like they did on cod4/mw2, games where very very few people used it.

that was it, you rarely ever saw anyone using cold blooded unless it was a stinger class, maybe the odd sniper or on a mapp like Underpass where a lot of people use thermal, but you'd never see anything like the amount of ghost and silencer weapon users you found on Blops
