It was in my gym bag and I think it fell out from when I walked from the car to the gym. Looked everywhere and I can't find it :(

    Feel better soon, Maple!

I had a lovely day but it was a bit confusing too. I think I'm reading too much into things though!

Went to Stephen's Green at lunch today with ice cream and it was deliciously sunny and a lot of fun. Definitely going to keep doing that as much as I can in the next few months, it brightens up my day :)

Thanks so much guys. I'm okay now. It was just a bit of a misunderstanding with the bf and I got quite upset. My own fault though.

2pm appointment didn't show up, I called her, her fella answered and says "Oh yeah, she mentioned something about that alright"....did she mention that she WASN'T COMING?? And wasn't going to tell me? Dealing with the public is a nightmare I tells ya.

I hate people who do that. When I was working that really annoyed me. Granted some people would actually phone in and say they couldn't make it. At least 1 or 2 appointments per day wouldn't show up and they weren't all routine vaccinations, some of them would be serious ones. I'd be thinking "That's grand, your animal could be seriously ill but don't show up for the consult with the vet.."

My grandma's sister and my aunt's sister both passed away yesterday. I feel sad but I feel like I should not because they both were old (98 and 88 respectively) and had lived long, full lives. Both had been ill for a while so it was expected, but it is still sad when the moment comes.

That's sad jujibee, I'm really sorry for your loss. Hope you're okay xx

I love when it's sunny enough for outings, makes the day seem less boring!

It didn't get dark til half 6 today, a grand stretch in the evenings! :D

I'm so tired from all the baking I did that I forgot to post about it.

Was very busy today. Made 28 choc chip cookies, 8 plain scones, 9 sultana scones and 20 cupcakes - left half plain, put chocolate on the other. Was in the kitchen for about 4 hours. Didn't really sleep well last night so that's making me more tired. I lay on my bed earlier just to rest and I ended up falling asleep.

I'm going to see the bf tomorrow armed with some of my wares from today. :D

I think it's time for me to hit the leaba. Up early in the morning to go to Portlaoise, then I have to get home, shower, pack a bag and head to the train station. Another busy day. Can't wait to see my bf. He's had a pain in his jaw for the last few days but won't go to the doctor. I think he needs some TLC.. ;)

Catch up with you all tomorrow guys. :) Night night. xx

got this fantastic app for the iphone called Sleep Cycle where you put the phone in a corner of your bed and it monitors your body movement and sleep patterns, and it actually works, shows you a graph of how still and deep a sleep you were and when you tossed and turned during the night, you can also set an alarm that starts to wake you up a half hour before you actually wake, as its when your sleep pattern is at its lightest phase, very cool. and its only 79c

Wow, that sounds really cool. I had a wicked bad night's sleep last night, Id love to see how much I was tossing and turning. Wonder if there's a version for android...

theres a version of it but its not by the same compant so I dunno if its as good. best thing about the iphone app is that it actually works, I was skeptical but I used it the past few nights and I find waking up isnt as bad when the alarm doesnt shock you out of a deep sleep, it plays music (or your own tone) to wake you, and the snooze button isnt a button, you just wave your hand over the phone and it turns off, but it repeats and gets louder the more awake you are.

    heres a vid on it:

Feel a bit guilty cos my boyfriend's grandad (who lives in the apartment upstairs, it's a duplex) is pretty sick, his wife is in the hospital after an operation, and I can't look after him cos I don't want to pass on germs to the baby (there are 3 million cases of flu in France since January) as he is too young...

Luckily he has lots of family to help but still! We live here practically rent-free and I can do nothing!

That's so funny, we probably did see each other! And I was back in the area for a walk with a friend at about six or so when we'd finished studying so there's another chance I saw you then too :pac:

I actually had an idea yesterday which seemed like a good idea at the time but now feels a little...silly. I was talking to X and he was quite stressed about things, he has a lot on his plate at the moment and doesn't think he's going to do well in his exams, or get an offer from Oxford for his Masters, which he really wants. I think he's going to do brilliantly but he's very worried about it and yesterday I was thinking I should offer to take him on a picnic during the last week of term in the Green, because I know it always helps cheer me up or relieve a bit of stress and then I got the idea that I could tell him then that I like him. But now it seems like a silly and childish idea and that if I said it to him he'd just think "wtf?" and say no straight away. Hmmmm.

I'm sure he understands you have to put the baby first so don't feel bad, especially with the flu going around. Maybe just call him to check up on him to let him know you're thinking of him
