    Went with Sunderland DNB 2.23

Also doing a small treble with Sunderland, Leeds and Torquay, 24.41.
(Torquay have won their last 3 away games, they're playing Gillingham who have one draw and two losses from their last 3 home games)

I've avoided offering tips on this thread for a long time because anytime I spread the word I seemed to scud the bet. Hopefully that won't happen on this occasion, but just to be sure, I'm stating up front that I'm not tipping this to anyone, just providing some information.

Linfield (top of the Irish league) go to Solitude this afternoon to play Cliftonville (in 3rd). The blues are missing two first team defenders to injury, announced only yesterday. Cliftonville are in good form, having just beaten St Pats home and away in the Setanta Cup. The reds also have Liam Boyce back from Werder Bremen and don't appear to be missing Rory Donnelly who moved to Swansea at Christmas.

The Reds, at home, in a torrid venue for the blues, are available at 19/10 to win, or 5/4 DNB. The Blues are top of the table for a reason, but the last two times they played at Solitude they lost 4-2 and 6-2 respectively.

Take from these facts what you will, and good luck with all your bets today.

    My goalscorer bets for today:
    Emnes (Boro) 15/8
    Rodriguez (Burnley) 7/5
    Constable (Oxford Utd.) wincast 7/5.
    €5 returns €82

Emnes and Rodriguez both in good enough form and Constable (a striker I like) has proved fruitful for me previously.

Going for an accumulator of a little over 10/1:

    Birmingham
    Huddersfield
    Manchester City
    Newcastle
    Swindon
    West Ham

Also, a decent bet on Sunderland to beat West Brom at 2/1. I'm a Sunderland fan and haven't backed us in months (still reeling from the latter end of the Steve Bruce days :pac:), but this looks too good to pass up.

have the same but with chelsea, celtic and sunderland and with out huddersfield looks sold

K, I followed all the other lemmings by betting on Leeds and Sunderland (better come in now).
Over 2.5 in Hearts / Dundee @ 11/10 in Boyles - this has come in 4/5 for each home and away, an excellent bet methinks.
Maybe double it with Killmarnock / Hibs - 3/5 for each home and away but Killy average goals scored/conceeded at home is 3.1 and Hibs in 3.3 away and at evens its a good squeeze.

Also gonna do a few singles on Torquay 19/10 Boyles and Crewe @ 11/10 pp

Going with this accum for interest. not much research done so it probably wont last long.

    20 on a sunderland win

    Sunderland DNB @ 11/10
    Stake: 20
    Potential Returns: 42

    Sunderland to score 2+ @ 17/10
    Stake: 20
    Potential Returns: 54

    Sunderland (-1) @ 11/2
    Stake: 10
    Potential Returns: 65

The handicap is being a bit ambitious but I see the scoreline being 2-0/2-1 to Sunderland and thought it was worth the chance

Horribly, horribly wrong. Every stat pointed in Sunderland's favour, would do the same bet again.

Sunderland were just absolutely dire and nothing was going their way either

Thats just brilliant. Wolves choose to play the best game of their season to ruin my two trebles. I feel sick

Changing my betting strategy from now on. No more silly 20/1 etc. accumulators for me. Going bigger on singles or doubles. Starting now with Man City v BRFC +2.5 goals and Milan v Juve both teams to score.

    Man City to score 4+ @ 8/5

    Stake: 30
    Potential Returns: 78

City average 3.08 goals at home, Blackburn concede on average 2.50 away (and Samba is gone)

What is it they say about not chasing losses... oh well

That's how you win money .
Big singles and big doubles with sometimes dnb to cover your ass.

M Balotelli to score in 90 minutes and Man City to win the match is my bet .
