    I can't look beyond Sunderland @2/1 or 11/10 DNB

For an outside bet Bolton are 10/1 - think I got that with Boylesports? which I think is generous seeing they're playing a tired and demoralised Chelsea

Posted earlier in the thread did a nice drunken bet that I am hoping comes in.

    I like it. I like it a lot :)

Anything worth looking at for the League Cup Final?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,303 ✭✭✭Lasagna Diarra

under 3.5 goals in the Chelsea v Bolton game is at 1.53, great bet to add to accums/doubles imo, Bolton's games rarely go over 3.5.

Also, Samba has been sold to Anzhi, now Man City to score in both halves looks a certainty.

I've gone for a treble of:
under 3.5 in Chelsea v Bolton
Man City to score in both halves
    Sunderland win or draw
    @ 3.46

Liking the Over 3.5 cards in the Wigan/Villa game. Kevin Friend is the referee, he averages around 4 cards per game. Both sides are up there in the yellow card count. Wigan have 6 more bookings at home than on the road (25-19) while Villa have 9 more bookings on the road than they do at home (17-26).

    Over 3.5 on Bet365 is 1.950

Gone for this myself despite the fact that the last meeting yielded just 1 yellow and the game before that just 2. They're otherwise high carding teams with a high carding ref and a good home versus away bias respectively.

    first up for me tomorrow
rarely felt as good about 3 teams over a weekend especially against
two of those teams (arse and inter) who are really out of sorts against
two teams who are playing good stuff so thatmakes me feel more confident

    sunder dnb at 11/10
i'd be amazed if they lost, playing great stuff, wb pretty poor at home

im far too confident for my own good
same goes for spurs dnb which i got at 5/4+6/5 last weekend
really think spurs will win though and surprised they havent shortened
    again from 15/8

and napoli have to be backed against inter especially the way inter
    are playing at the moment
A little bit undecided whether to take near evens or to take evens
    on cavani anytime

whoever backed bolton +2 might be on to something
last time chelsea won in the league by more than one goal
was against newc on dec 3
could easily see a draw or chels to win by a goal

even swansea look big at 13/5 away to stoke
swansea and draw looks great to me but i wouldnt be
doing a big single on a 4/6 shot

someone mentioned leeds here also with pompey being in dire straits
surely a good reason to have a few bob on leeds

my ambitious bet this weekend for a couple of euro is this
    works out at 59/1
    has to happen sometime

Premier League Matches Stoke v Swansea
    26-02-2012 15:00
    Double Chance
    Swansea And Draw @ 4/6
Serie A Matches Napoli v Inter Milan
    26-02-2012 19:45
    Wincast
E Cavani to score in 90 minutes and Napoli to win the match @ 9/5
Premier League Matches Arsenal v Tottenham
    26-02-2012 13:30
    Half-Time/Full-Time
    Tottenham / Tottenham @ 7/2
Premier League Matches West Brom v Sunderland
    25-02-2012 15:00
    Win-Draw-Win
    Sunderland @ 15/8

I have a small bet on 0-0 in the Belgrano v Santa Fe game @ 5.50, Santa Fe's last 2 games ended 0-0 and Belgrano also had a 0-0 two weeks ago.

My main bet for the weekend...

    West Brom v Sunderland
    Sunderland +1.5 @ 1.18

    Man City v Blackburn
    Over 1.5 Goals @ 1.10

Olivier Rochus vs Milos Raonic (tennis)
    Milos Raonic @ 1.11

    Chelsea v Bolton
    Bolton +3.5 @ 1.14

    Ireland v Italy
    Ireland @ 1.071

    Swindon v Accrington Stanley
    Swindon +0.5 @ 1.105

    (Odds of 1.94 on Bet365)

  • Registered Users Posts: 629 ✭✭✭PurpleSt4in

Sunderland dnb @ 11/10 against West Brom

WB have the third worst home form in the league lost 8 of 12 at home! This is a generous price unless the bookies know something we don't

Sunderland to score first @ 11/10

    Sunderland to score 2+ @ 17/10

    All tempting :p

McClean anytime @ 7/2 or McClean wincast 7/1 so I can cheer on the lad

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,338 ✭✭✭yesno1234

Sibenik v Inter Zapresic Croatian premier

Sibenik are 3rd from bottom of the table, Inter are 8th. Sibenik have won 2 of the last 5, lost 2 drawing the other. Inter have lost 4 of the last 5 away. BUT, Sibenik have financial problems and their first team haven't been paid so they are playing a team of reserves and youngsters.

Inter were available at 1.91 last night but thats gone down to 1.80 now, thats both with William Hill. Looks worth a bet, I got on the 1.91 last night.

    Sunderland DNB @ 11/10
    Stake: 20
    Potential Returns: 42

    Sunderland to score 2+ @ 17/10
    Stake: 20
    Potential Returns: 54

    Sunderland (-1) @ 11/2
    Stake: 10
    Potential Returns: 65

The handicap is being a bit ambitious but I see the scoreline being 2-0/2-1 to Sunderland and thought it was worth the chance

Good luck to all on the bandwagon, hoping for a smooth ride

Best value this weekend bet seems to be Sunderland or a variation thereof.

    What about this match?

    http://www.soccerway.com/matches/2012/02/25/poland/ekstraklasa/ts-podbeskidzie-bielsko-biala/zaglebie-lubin-ssa/1121822/

This away team have only managed a single point on the road (8 games)
Home team at home have lost two (to better opposition) and drawn four, won three.

The home team are evens on PP, 1/2 DNB could be alright??

jaysus there'll be some long faces here all round if sunder lose
    so many on it

but hey, we know what we're at
    it's not gonna happen :D

Going for an accumulator of a little over 10/1:

    Birmingham
    Huddersfield
    Manchester City
    Newcastle
    Swindon
    West Ham

Also, a decent bet on Sunderland to beat West Brom at 2/1. I'm a Sunderland fan and haven't backed us in months (still reeling from the latter end of the Steve Bruce days :pac:), but this looks too good to pass up.

Liverpool -4 Corner Handicap 11/10 might be worth a look. Liverpool will probably dominate and Liverpool always get a lot of corners, especially when Bellamy plays, which I think he will.

Gone 20 on a Sunderland + Burnley double, and 5 on Mclean first goalscorer @10/1.

    Sunderland @ 2/1

Celtic, Newcastle and Man City -1 @ 2/1

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,731 ✭✭✭Fowler87

    Newcastle
    West Ham
    Charlton
    Swindon
    10 returns 60

Some very good prices on these anytime scorers tomorrow..
    Aubameyang (St.Etienne) @ 9/4
    Zidan (Mainz) @ 7/4
    Chopra (Ipswich) @ 13/8
    2.50 trixie potential returns 120

    G'luck all

I don't like the way everyone 1 is on Sunderland, but against my better judgement I've gone or dnb Sunderland and Newcastle -1ah

    Double bet

    Sunderland dnb @ 11/10

    Spurs dnb @ evs

    Celtic @ 1/3

    Terble : 9/2

    Looks like a good bet!

  • Registered Users Posts: 542 ✭✭✭clearodara

St Etienne look at very good bet at 11/10 DNB to beat Auxerre. They've only lost 3 times in their previous 14 games and drawn 1. Auxerre have lost 8 of their previous 14 - drawing 3 and winning just 3.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,209 ✭✭✭Redzer7

    Going for this accy:
    Swindon 4/9
    Oxford 4/9
    Sunderland 15/8
    Man City 1/5
    5 returns nearly 40.

have not gone to the bookies yet but teams that im considering are:

Dumbarton (While stirling managed to get a 1-1 draw with league leaders cowdenbeath in the last fixture I think Dumbarton should still take them)

Alloa (league leaders in the third division but have lost their last 2 competitive games, I think they will get back on track with a home win against a team who struggle on their travels)

Inverness CT (this is a bit of a gamble - with Rangers in turmoil on and off the pitch its a decent opportunity for a home team to "do one" over one of the old firm - they only lost 1-0 to Celtic earlier in the month...maybe a DNB would be an option or under 2.5goals)

against my better judgement Falkirk/Queen of the South - Draw (heart says home win head says draw)

in the PL you would have to fancy a newcastle/man city double, I also reckon Fulham will get a nice clint dempsey/brian ruiz double and win 2-0 and while everyone thinks Sunderland will win at WBA I think it'll be a 1-1 draw, sessegnon and odemwingie (last home win for WBA in the league was in November....if Sunderland take the lead it could open the floodgates)

    Odds for above are:
    Sunderland 15/8...... draw (9/4)
    1-1 draw 5/1
Odemwingie to score first and 1-1 25/1
Sessingnon to score first and 1-1 33/1

    Fulham 17/10
Dempsey to score first fulham 0-2 ...... 45/1
Ruiz to score first fulham 0-2 ..... 60/1 (I actually forgot that Zamora was back on the scene ....so its possible QPR might get one...with that in mind Both teams to score BTTS - 4/6)

    Dumbarton 1/2
    Alloa 1/2
    Inverness CT 7/2
    DNB (5/2) ...Draw 11/4 ...under 2.5 goals 11/10
    Falkirk/QOS draw 13/5 (falkirk win 8/11)

Newcastle/Man City Double works out at just under evens

the above is just my opinions and I have no real basis for the selections only my own analysis of current form

5.10 Fairyhouse You Must Know Me 6/4

    Newcastle v Wolves
    Anytime Goalscorer Demba Ba EVS

    Man City v Blackburn
    Anytime Goalscorer Sergio Aguero 4/5

    Celtic v Motherwell
    Anytime Goalscorer Anthony Stokes 10/11

    i like this accum alot

  • Registered Users Posts: 159 ✭✭colinod

Limerick look to be a very big price away to Drogheda at 7/4

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,243 ✭✭✭✭SteelyDanJalapeno

A goal within the 1st 10 minutes of the Ankaragucu game @ 12/5

    kicks off at 11.

    edit, no good

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,774 ✭✭✭Polar101

On the Sunderland bandwagon as well.

I also like Leeds to win (2.68 at Betfair), Portsmouth are a messy situation and Warnock is now taking over at Leeds. 2.68 looks like great value.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,303 ✭✭✭Lasagna Diarra

I don't like the way the odds on WBA have gone down a little bit so I've done another treble without Sunderland:

Under 3.5 goals in Chelsea v Bolton
Man City to score in both halves
    BTTS in QPR v Fulham
    @ 3.98
